Menara Tun Mustapha (Tun Mustapha Tower), formerly called the Sabah Foundation Building, is a 72 glass walled tower rising 30 storeys at 122 metres high. Completed in 1977, it has a central core with steel brackets supporting each floor, and ever since has towered over Likas Bay. It is about 10 minutes drive from the city centre of Kota Kinabalu.
The complex houses an auditorium, two mini-theatres, an exhibition foyer, a gymnasium, kindergarten and research library. This iconic landmark is well known for its revolving restaurant on the 18th floor, named the Atmosphere Revolving Restaurant. The remaining part of this tower is mostly occupied by offices.
