Carrasco General Cesáreo L. Berisso International Airport (IATA: MVD, ICAO: SUMU) is the largest airport in Uruguay. It is located north of Ciudad de la Costa in the Canelones department, in close proximity to (and east of) the capital city of Montevideo, which it serves. Ciudad de la Costa is the name of the city where the airport is located, which extends into eastern Montevideo.
