Shannon International Airport in County Clare, serving Limerick city and the Midwest of Ireland. Located in the townland of Rineanna, alongside the Shannon Estuary. The airport has U.S. border preclearance services, enabling U.S.-bound passengers to have their paperwork dealt with before their flight, saving time upon arrival. Dublin and Shannon are the only two European airports with such facililties.
