An ex-WWII, ex-Soviet military airport, now a small regional public airport with scheduled traffic with connections to Berlin and 3 other German cities. Serves the island of Usedom on the German side. Has one asphalt-surfaced runway, dimmensions: 2305 x 30 meters, capable of handling Boeing 737 / Airbus 320 type aircraft. Only 13 km from the city center of Swinoujscie (pop. 41,000), the largest local city.
