Fleur de lis

Translated from French, Fleur-de-lis means "lily flower". It has been used throughout history as a symbol of royalty. It was first used for Clovis the First, the first King of France, at his conversion to Christianity in 493 AD. It is known to be a symbol evoking the rising sun. Most recently, it has been shown as the symbol of the Priory of Sion in the movie, "The Da Vinci Code". We chose it to represent a standard of quality provided to our residents, to which we aspire.
