QMID error on exporting for airports im doing

I am trying to work on an airport from scratch (TGPY) (deleted everything
except tower frequencies and ils freq), and whenever I try exporting, I get
the error message “This AIRPORT is in a different QMID than the ICAO index
list thinks. AIRPORT DE11 IS DISCARDED!” and “This AIRPORT is in a different
QMID than the ICAO index list thinks.AIRPORT DE04 IS DISCARDED!” I have the
correct ICAO code and name in the airport properties panel. I have also
created a new project and tried editing a different airport and get the same
message. However they seem to export fine. I tried deleting the content.xml
file and a couple other things. Any help is appreciated.

Hello @dougjudy, Can you send us your project please ? see

crash/77](https://devsupport.flightsimulator.com/t/how-to-report-a-bug-or-
crash/77) Regards, Boris

Hi dougjudy, It is probably because the airport you have added is at a
different location from the airport in our database. Have you tried using the
airport wizard creator ? It will place the airport at the correct lat/long.
Regards, Xavier

Hi Darwikey, I used the airport editor to create this airport, and selected
“Override existing airport” while at the correct airport and it did give me
the lat/long etc. I sent my project for you guys to take a look Thanks

Hi again @dougjudy , We are investigating this problem and will keep you
informed Meanwhile, you can continue editing and building your project as
usual. It seems to work as expected. Regards, Boris

I am getting the same error for an airport that had not existed in MSFS: LHHE
(Zalacsány-Héviz) in Hungary. I only get this error now, after updating the
SDK to the new version. I created this airport several months ago (without
getting this error) and now I made only some corrections.

This bug (which has been dragging on for a long time) has also prevented me
from fixing an airport (FNCU) in a new geographic location … as it conflicts
with the internal MSFS database. Below is the list in my Store version
(1.24.5.0) of the default airports that are in conflict with each other. This
AIRPORT is in a different QMID than the ICAO index list thinks. AIRPORT DE11
IS DISCARDED! This AIRPORT is in a different QMID than the ICAO index list
thinks. AIRPORT DE04 IS DISCARDED! This AIRPORT is in a different QMID than
the ICAO index list thinks. AIRPORT KBRG IS DISCARDED! This AIRPORT is in a
different QMID than the ICAO index list thinks. AIRPORT SDL IS DISCARDED! This
AIRPORT is in a different QMID than the ICAO index list thinks. AIRPORT FNCU
IS DISCARDED! Excluding FNCU which is what I wanted to change as it is in the
wrong position and with the wrong ICAO name. By the way, is there a huge
confusion in the ICAO names database when will they be corrected? for
instance: …\Official\OneStore\fs-base\scenery\0604\APX51340.bgl Matadi
Airport / Congo DRC (FZMT) and Matadi Airport (FZMI) / Angola
…\Official\OneStore\fs-base\scenery\0604 \APX52340.BGL Kasongo-Lunda Airport
(FZKS) / Angola (FN) Kasongo-Lunda Airport (FZKG) / Congo DRC (FZ) Kasongo-
Lunda Airport (FZKU) / Congo DRC (FZ) Kasongo-Lunda Airport (FZDD) / Congo DRC
(FZ) Kasongo-Lunda Airport (FZKD) / Congo DRC (FZ)

You should be able to close the FNCU and simply create another airport. What
is the location and new ID you wish to use?

Hi @rhumbaflappy, the matter here is a little complicated. We are in the
0604 folder APX51350.bgl There is FNCU / Calulo (this real and object of the
project) and in the same geographical position FNNT / N’dalatando (by default
but in the wrong position) and then there is (also this by default) FNCU /
Coemba (APX52360.bgl) with the same ICAO. Hence, the conflict with the MSFS
internal database s09 58,55 e014 55,08

s12 08,62 e 018 05,12

It would be nice if, after closing an airport, we could then recycle the
airport ID. It would be nice if we were not restricted to a 5 character
airport ID (8 would be nice, 16 would be best). It would also be nice if money
grew on trees.

If you change the location of an airport, you may get the above errors. Right
now, the solution is to close the airport, then create a new airport with a
different icao. If you report the correct location of the airport (or icao) to
Asobo, they might correct it in a world update.

Hello @Gjanosh61 , Can you tell me the current name/ICAO/Coordinate and the
corrected name/Coordinates/ICAO of the concerned airports please ? That way I
will open an issue on our side to get it fixed Regards, Boris

Hello @Boris thank you very much ️for the availability, \ 0604 \ APX5130.BGL
FNNT -N’dalatando (by default) is incorrect in this position the correct one
is: FNCU - Calulo S09 58.5 E014 55.08 Remedy: Rename ICAO to FNCU \ 0604
APX52360.BGL FNCU - Coemba (by default) S12 08.67 E018 05.50 Solution: Rename
ICAO to AO-0004 Unfortunately, this is only one but there are others that are
messed with the icao callsign. I believe that we must have the [Location
Indicators (Doc 7910/183)](https://store.icao.int/en/location-indicators-
doc-7910) ICAO and then integrate with national databases. This is a version
