GSX PRO LKKV KARLOVY AIRPORT PROFILE

This Profile was created using the DEFAULT Karlovy Airport that was uploaded with World Update 14 - Central Eastern Europe.

Karlovy Vary Airport (Czech: Letiště Karlovy Vary) (IATA: KLV, ICAO: LKKV) is the airport of Karlovy Vary in western Bohemia. It is located in the village of Olšová Vrata, 6 km southeast of the city centre and is the fourth-busiest airport in the Czech Republic. The airport handled 104,469 passengers in 2013, which was a record high.

History
Plans were announced in 2011 to build a new departure hall at the airport, at an estimated expense of 30 million crowns.  99% of passengers using the airport in 2012 were Russian.

Ground transportation
From Karlovy Vary or Prague: The airport is 6 km southeast of the centre of Karlovy Vary.  Turn from the road I/6 (E48) near Karlovy Vary Golf Resort and continue 3,5 km to the airport. Public transport to the airport is maintained seven times per day by city bus Nr. 8. The nearest major international airport is Prague Václav Havel Airport approx. 90 km to the east.

This zipped file contains a folder and an instructional text document, the folder is named GSX Pro Karlovy Airport Profile.  Use 7-Zip or WinRar to decompress the file into your favorite unzipping folder.  Copy the .ini file that is inside the folder and copy it into:

%Appdata%/virtuali/GSX/MSFS

Deleting an "old" file is better than just overwriting it, prevents any problems from arising.

ONLY FOR AIRCRAFT THAT DO NOT HAVE AN EFB TO CONTROL PASSENGER NUMBERS:
One of the things that help with immersion with ALL Simulator Aircraft are the payload settings, for you to get the most PAX on an aircraft when boarding and deboarding you need to set the payload settings in the sim for these aircraft between 30% - 100%.  You can save these settings by pressing "Save" and giving it a name or leaving the default name given to the file generated. If not done, the most you will see boarding and deboarding - in most aircraft that do not have an EFB to allow for Passengers, would be approximately 1 - 4 passengers.  With this setting set to 100% you will get the max PAX payload that the aircraft can accommodate. REMEMBER to do this, or your simulation immersion will be hindered to the lesser load of the aircraft.

**** IMPORTANT ****

When using this profile please make sure that the nose-wheel of the aircraft is always on top of the Parking Slot "Stop Here" line. If the aircraft is not on that line, then re-position the aircraft so that it is. You can do that by using the GSX Main Menu, choose 0 - Reposition aircraft and then choose 1 - Reposition here at current gate. Also, if that does not work you can always start from the runway and reposition the aircraft from there to the Parking Slot you want to relocate your aircraft to.

*** This profile implements the "Seperate Waypoints for Deboarding" function that is built into GSX Pro v3.0.  This profile uses only the 4 Largest parking slots and not the "little" ones located at the other end of the tarmac.  A total of 8 PAX waypoint pathways, 4 for boarding and 4 for deboarding.
