send me a character and i’ll list:

• favorite thing about them: while i love how extra he is, i’d say the inherent softness of the character? obviously, he’s v. much a fairy tale archetype, with the humanity hidden underneath the monster, which means i don’t think too hard about the “evil” side of it all. it’s fairy tale evil, yk? kind of abstract and all. so i love that deep down, he wants to experience the world and be a part of it, hence my complete adoration of the part where he goes undercover and meets Fantaghiro. It shaped me as a person. 
• least favorite thing about them: i don’t know, tbh. i love the movies as they are, but sometimes I wish he appeared earlier on. That’s not really about him, though. But really, I just dig him. Fairy tale evil and all.
• favorite line: I can’t remember the exact quote, but when he says he never saw himself in a mirror and goes, “Maybe I’m ugly.” I really like that line (also it’s funny because it’s not true.)
• random headcanon: He looks like he’d get into the arts once he’s done with the whole prince of darkness gig.
• unpopular opinion: Mmmm… the fandom is non-existent so I don’t know if it can be considered unpopular, but while I adored his interactions with Fantaghiro, I was never mad they don’t end up together. I’m really good with the way it plays out, and Fantaghiro is so clearly in love with Romualdo that it would have felt… odd for her to suddenly change her mind. (We don’t talk about the fifth movie, it doesn’t exist, nope, never happened.) 
• song i associate with them: this, obviously. I love the soundtrack for those movies tbh. Also, My Sweet Prince by Placebo, I think, because I saw a fanvid for him with that a while ago and it stuck.
• favorite picture of them: it’s hard to choose but i’m a fan of this expression
