A LATAM today announced the first of five aircraft that will feature the colors of their national flags of South American countries, starting with Brazil.

The Airbus A320neo registered PR-XBG was the first aircraft and should be the only one in the LATAM Brasil fleet to feature the colors of the Brazilian national flag. LATAM intends to launch the paintings to strengthen local pride in the largest airline group in South America.

The special painting includes changes only to the colors of the vertical stabilizer logo, which received the colors green and yellow and are interspersed according to the visual identity of the LATAM Group.

To the delight of spotters and enthusiasts, it is very likely that PR-XBG will begin operating today (11) in the company. The aircraft has so far just taken off from São Carlos (QSC), where LATAM carries out maintenance on its aircraft, as well as painting part of its fleet.

Including Brazil, four other countries will also be represented by other aircraft. Initially, the other countries are: Chile, Ecuador, Peru and Colombia.

On its first day of operation, the PR-XBG must pass through Congonhas, Santos Dumont, Fortaleza and Vitória, however, it is worth remembering that the aircraft can change its itinerary without prior notice.
