Sheila on 7 to Hold 'Tunggu Aku' Concert in 5 Big Indonesian Cities

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - After the success of the 'Tunggu Aku di Jakarta (Wait for Me in Jakarta)' concert in 2023, the music group Sheila on 7 will hold the 'Tunggu Aku' concert in 5 big cities in Indonesia. It is hoped that this concert will quench the thirst of Sheila Gank, the name of the band's fanbase, in various cities that will be visited by Duta, Eros and Adam, the original members of the band.

This announcement was made by the promoter Antara Suara on Friday, April 5, 2024 via a press release. The large number of Sheila on 7 fans in various cities and even Southeast Asian countries makes Antara Suara and its partners optimistic that the 'Tunggu Aku' concert can increase tourist visits to the cities where the Sheila on 7 concert is held.

CEO of Antara Suara, Andri Verraning Ayu, revealed that several cities were chosen considering that Sheila on 7 had not been there for a long time. It is estimated that this will also attract more tourists to visit the city.

"After the success of Sheila on 7's solo concert 'Wait for Me in Jakarta' which attracted the attention of fans from various cities and countries, we are trying to quench the fans' thirst by holding it in more cities," said Ayu.

Bassist Sheila on 7, Adam Subarkah, is optimistic that Sheila Gank will fill all the upcoming 'Tunggu Aku (Wait for Me)' concerts. According to him, the 'Wait for Me' concert was a big moment for Sheila on 7 and fans.

“This is the first time we have held our own large-scale concerts in various cities. "We are optimistic that the 'Wait for Me' concert will receive a positive response from Sheila Gank, who already misses Sheila On 7's appearances. We also hope that this concert can help the post-Covid economy to grow again," he said.
