Our history
Argentina es uno de los líderes mundiales en número de vehículos convertidos a gas metano vehicular
(GNC). En un principio, cuando el país decidió implementar el gas metano como combustible alternati-
vo, el mercado experimentó una creciente necesidad de equipos de conversión que fueran fabricados
con tecnología, calidad y precios reducidos. Por este motivo se fundó SGV®. La sólida misión de SGV®,
que se basa en la reducción de emisiones contaminantes de forma sostenible para nuestro planeta,
ayudó a la empresa a recibir apoyo económico del gobierno del estado y también el apoyo de institu-
ciones tecnológicas estatales a través de la colaboración de los grupos I+ .d. Así, fue posible desarrollar
y fabricar productos innovadores con magnífica aceptación en el mercado.
Como resultado de la excelente rentabilidad de los productos fabricados, las ventas en el mercado
interno se expandieron rápidamente.
Hoy, SGV® conforma el grupo de empresas líderes en el mercado global en el segmento de combusti-
bles alternativos para uso vehicular. La empresa produce una línea completa de sistemas de conversión
para gas licuado y gas metano (GLP y GNC), capaz de satisfacer todas las necesidades, desde simples
sistemas de carburador de vehículos hasta sistemas altamente sofisticados con inyección secuencial
equipados con diagnóstico OBD2.
Con el objetivo de mejorar la tecnología productiva, reducir costes y aumentar el lanzamiento de nue-
vos productos, SGV® está automatizando todas sus unidades productivas con sistemas robóticos de
última generación.

Argentina is one of the world leaders converted vehicles to natural gas (CNG). In the beginning, when the country deci-
ded to implement natural gas as an alternative fuel, the market experienced a growing need for conversion equipment
that were manufactured with quality, technology and prices. It was for this reason that SGV® was founded. The SGV®
solid mission, which is based on reducing pollutant emissions in a sustainable way for our planet, helped our company
to receive financial support from government and technological state institutions through I + D collaboration groups.
Because of this it was possible to develop and manufacture innovative products with superb market acceptance.
As a result of excellent cost-benefit of manufactured products, sales in the domestic market expanded rapidly.
Today SGV® is part of a group of companies in the global market leaders in the alternative fuels for vehicle segment.
The company produces a full range of conversion systems for LPG and compressed natural gas (LPG and CNG), capable
to satisfy every conversion needs, starting from the simple carburetor vehicle systems to highly sophisticated systems
to sequential injection equipped with OBD2 diagnostic.
Currently a result of improved production technology is reducing costs and increase the time to market of new pro-
ducts, is automating all the SGV® production units with arm robotic systems.
