A Beechcraft B200GT King Air 250 carrying remdesivir injections did a crash landing (excursion) at Gwalior Airport of India .

Indian province Madhya Pradesh owned  VT-MPQ  , a Beechcraft B200GT King Air 250 aircraft , did a crash landing what seems to be a runway excursion, while transporting remdesivir injections  for  COVID-19 patients.

 

Aircraft was doing a Indore - Gwalior flight, when the accident took place on runway 06R at Gwalior Airport (GWL/VIGR), Madhya Pradesh yesterday-6th May.

 


 


 

All three occupants sustained minor injuries and have been admitted to a hospital.

 

The Beechcraft 250 aircraft was purchased by the Madhya Pradesh state government in the year 2020.

 


 


 

Kaushlendra Vikram Singh, district collector, Gwalior said,

 

“The plane took off from Indore with vials of Remdesivir. The reason for the crash landing is not clear yet but it was a minor accident and the vials of Remdesivir injections are safe. Air force officers reached the spot and rescued the pilots and co-pilots after the incident.”
