Skardu International Airport (IATA: KDU, ICAO: OPSD) is an international civil airport in Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. It also serves as a forward operating base of the Pakistan Air Force.
On 2 December 2021, Skardu Airport was designated and re-inaugurated as an international airport after providing upgrades to the airport to become a tourism hub for Gilgit-Baltistan.
Currently Pakistan has two domestic airlines "Airblue" and "Pakistan International Airlines" flying their routes in and out from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
The interior modelling of the terminal and the runway is already a WIP.

Though the airport seems basic the location seems fantastic. I'll test it

IRL, the airport is just getting its upgrades to serve international flights very soon. FlyDubai would be flying into it too.
