Brief description of the issue:

LLJR airport is open and usable in MSFS, but in real life this airport closed many years ago
If you check the aerial photos of the airport, you can see clearly that the RW29 side is being used as a bus stop for local busses.

Closed: October 2000 (closed to civilian traffic)

Due to security issues during the Second Intifada, the airport was closed to civilian air traffic in October 2000 and by July 2001 it was formally handed over to the Israel Defense Forces

Its still there, and :maybe" still open to Military Traffic ( and probably MSFS Space Craft as well !! )

Still there, but maybe you might think twice before trying to land there !@!!
But its a SIM, so why not ?

It is not there anymore, I took the local bus from that bus stop multiple times. Unless military aircraft land between buses

As I said, check Google imagery for the coordinates (which are more recent than Bing): it shows clearly that the RW29 side is just a bus terminal.

It is a simulator, and I currently fly from/to it to visit near locations, but if we want to simulator to be updated, this airport should be removed from MSFS.

“The bus will start speeding from the RW29 direction, when it reaches a third of the distance and reach VR distance, it will ‘rotate’ left to the exit and to enter the city”, it is a nice sensation btw…

Your local knowledge is obviously more accurate than an out of date Bing image… :+1:

Hopefully Asobo’s scenery people will address it’s removal in a timely manner
