PANN Nenana

Nenana Alaska, USA
Nenana airport is 37 KM, 245 degrees from Fairbanks International Airport where the Nenana River enters the Tanana River. It has two runways: 4L/22R with a 4,600 x 100 ft asphalt pavement and 4R/22L with a 2,520 x 60 ft turf surface. It also has a seaplane landing area designated 4W/22W which measures 3,601 x 100 ft. Nenana is a great place for a fuel stop too.
On January 17, 2007, a Douglas C54G-DC airplane sustained substantial damage following an in-flight engine fire and subsequent gear-up landing on the tundra, about 5 miles west of Nenana. Royal Air Force Akrotiri or more simply RAF Akrotiri (IATA: AKT, ICAO: LCRA) is a large Royal Air Force station, on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. It is located in the Western Sovereign Base Area, one of two areas which comprise Akrotiri and Dhekelia, a British Overseas Territory, administered as a Sovereign Base Area.
The station commander has a dual role and is also the officer commanding the Akrotiri or Western Sovereign Base Area, reporting to the commander of British Forces Cyprus who is also the Administrator.

Personal comments:
It seems that many military airports in X-Plane have not yet been modeled and LCRA was a case in point. With many X-Plane users now trying their hand at flying military jets, RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus seemed like a good choice. Considering the constant upheavals in the Middle East, and its neighbors, any RAF station on Cyprus is strategically very important. The airfield has about 6 aprons, each of which presented its own unique design problems and headaches. While I did enjoy making this scenery, especially in the first few weeks, I was very glad when it was finally done.
Elevation is at 23.1 metres (76 ft) and there is a single asphalt runway: 10/28 which is 2,743 metres (8,999 ft) in length. Since the runway is long and wide enough, feel free to pick a large cargo jet, an Atlas Military Transport A400M (if you have one) or even a commercial jet and fly across to Gibraltar on the other side of the Mediterranean. On the way there you may want to stop at one of my other Mediterranean airports, LMML, LICP,LICT,LIRI,LIBA,LIAF,LIRJ,LFKC,LFNG and LIER. Plan your flight carefully because few of these airports can accommodate your large transport aircraft.

Installation:
Put unzipped folder, Europe_Cyprus_LCRA in X-Plane, Custom Scenery folder. Restart X-Plane. If scenery does not show up, make sure that it is above Global airports and any Mesh Scenery you may be using, in the scenery_packs.ini file. Remember to disable other sceneries of the same airport, if you have any. If the scenery does not look like the pictures, then you must have picked up another scenery in your Custom Scenery folder.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
I upload these sceneries to this site even though they are normally approved and later included in future versions of X-Plane so that users will have a jump start on these airports until they are in fact included in the default X-Plane version. Also, I occasionally update these sceneries and unless the update is big, then I only submit the update on this site. So, if you download any of my Canada_XX_XXXX or other sceneries and find that they are not different from the default, it is because this scenery has already been approved and included in X-Plane. If you receive any error messages during loading, please update X-Plane to the latest version.
I would suggest that if you are happy with the scenery in question, you hang on to it regardless of the fact that the present X-Plane version has the identical (approved) scenery because in later X-Plane versions this might be over-written, for better or for worse, by a different approved version. If you notice trees growing where they shouldn't or other autogen incursions, try disabling your Mesh to see if this is the problem. Please write to me if this happens. This scenery like all the others (I've updated quite a few) should be compatible with HD Mesh V4. Do not be misled by the tiny size (Less than 100 kb) of the file. This is a LEGO-BRICK scenery and uses the megabytes of art assets already included in your installation of X-Plane. It will compare favorably, at times better, to other (much larger sized) sceneries of this area and will probably exceed your expectations. Equally Important
Please take time to rate and leave a short comment or constructive criticism so that I'd know I am on the right track with these sceneries. I understand that one normally doesn't return to the download page after you've installed the scenery but try anyway. Comments do motivate scenery designers!

LIRM - Grazzanise

This military airport is located north of Naples. It's the base of 9° Stormo for support to special military mission. It was a fighter base but today the stormo use AB212 helicopters.
It has two runways; the second one 06L/24R is a dirty runway used for exercise for landing and takeoff from unprepared airstip in special situation.
It is also used for civilian airline landing in the case or Naples Capodichino airport unavailability.

I99D Dewey Moore Airstrip

Dewey Moore is perhaps the most notorious airstrip in the legendary bush pilot's paradise known as the "Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness" on Big Creek in Idaho. Many planes have wrecked on this tricky little landing strip. There is even an effort afoot to close it down.
High quality mesh required! Please use Forkboy or Ortho4XP to create hi-res mesh needed for this strip. Not tested with default mesh, so it may or may not work. Ortho4XP users: This airstrip is now recognized by OSM and will be smoothed by O4XP v1.3. Play with the apt_smoothing_pix value to control waviness. I get good results with a value of 16. Or, use the included OSM files to enhance your O4XP mesh.
Just a runway with some grass and trees, this airfield caught my attention when it appeared in a recent Air Safety Institute production. It is extremely demanding and only suitable for STOL aircraft. The Lukla of Idaho, no go-arounds! Fly in from Vines or Mile Hi or various other Idaho bush airstrips.

Grosseto Italian Airforce is the base of the 4 stormo of fighters EF2000. It has the main runway 3000mt long good for heavy jets.
It holds also a passenger terminal for seasonal charter flight to the nice beaches in that area. The airport is few kilometer away from Tyrrenian sea.

RKSI Incheon International Airport 2.0

"Incheon International Airport is the largest airport in South Korea, the primary airport serving the Seoul Capital Area, and one of the largest and busiest airports in the world. Since 2005, it has been rated the best airport worldwide by Airports Council International every year. It is also rated as the world's cleanest airport and the world's best international transit airport by Skytrax."
This is a completely new rebuilt scenery. It contains all terminals (Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Concourse and cargo area). All active gates have the Autogate Plugin and there's a serious amount of Groundtraffic. Use the links to download the appropriate plugins.
For users of the Jardesign X-Life Plugin the zip file contains "RKSI.xlf". Please copy this file into your \X-Plane 11\Resources\plugins\X-Life\Airports folder. Since this is a large airport, set the landing/take-off interval to at least 4 minutes.

Los Garzones International Airport (IATA code: MTR, ICAO code: SKMR) is located 10 km from the center of the city of Monteria, Córdoba (Colombia). ADA, Avianca, LATAM Colombia, Viva Colombia airlines provide national commercial service; and EasyFly. In 2018, EasyFly is expected to start international operations.
In 2008, the "AirPlan" consortium formed by the following companies was awarded through a bidding process: Malibú S.A .; Fernando Mazuera y Cía., Information and Technology S.A., Portales Urbanos S.A., Colombian Society of Commercial Investments (Socinsa), Supertiendas y Droguerías Olímpica, Noarco S.A. and Comprehensive Services for Networks and Communications that, together with the Chinese company CAH Colombia, propose works among which are the construction of a new terminal, reconditioning of the runways and taxiways and new security systems. Since 2010, the airport has an urban bus service that connects the air terminal with the intermunicipal bus terminal of the city of Monteria.1
Currently, Los Garzones receives between 22 and 25 commercial flights per day, managing to mobilize more than 83,000 passengers per month, however the average number of daily operations is 53. It is also the base of EasyFly operations, so it has aircraft overnight and crews of said airline in the city.

KBED Hanscom Field

This is, I think, a definite improvement over the current default scenery for Hanscom Field in eastern Massachusetts. Taxiways and ramps have been totally redrawn to better match satellite imagery, many buildings have been replaced, and the layout of various areas has been updated to match recent renovations to the airport. The package doesn't require any 3rd party libraries, but it does contain a fair number of building objects rendered in Sketchup. Hopefully it'll be useful at least for my new acquaintance JD, who's using XP for some of his pilot training at Hanscom. Hope you enjoy it.

Dr. Luis María Argaña International Airport (IATA: ESG, ICAO: SGME) is an airport that serves the small city of Mariscal Estigarribia, in the Boquerón Department of Paraguay.
The airport is named after Luis María Argaña, a vice president who was assassinated in 1999. It is operated by Paraguayan military authorities. GlobalSecurity.org states that some believe the United States are using the airport as a permanent military base. However, they go on to say that this is false.[3]
With 3,500 m (11,483 ft), its runway is the longest in the country, more than Asunción's airport.

With 50th Anniversary of the Concorde i present one of the exotic airports where Concorde landed.
Located in Pacific Ocean in Tuamotu area. One long 11.000 ft runway enough for Concorde and other
cargo planes used in 70´s as a supply base for military operations with nuclear weapons on southern
Mururoa and Fangataufa atolls. In 2010 all military buildings has been dismantled and airport area
reconstructed for pure civil airport serving mostly local traffic. During 2019 Chinese investors
begun long time awaited construction works for upcomming large fishfarm just around the airport
and abandoned port. Airport will be used for large cargo planes heading to China´s mainland.

In each ZOrtho4XP / textures folder run !runme.cmd for geo texture conversion and press Y
after conversion for deleting source files which are not necessary from now on

Before that do this in each textures folder with geo files:
Highlight all of the geo files. Right click and select "Rename ## items" and just type ".geo" into to the "Find:" box and ".jpg"
into the "Replace with:" box.
This will rename geo files for Mac conversion utility from the link above. Now you can run in each textures
folder that utility for Mac. After that delete JPG files. Leave DDS here.
5.Run X-Plane and select NTTO airport or fly from anywhere here
Frequently asked questions
Q: Will it work in XP10?
A: No, it uses XP11.35 library objects
Q: I dont see any autogen buildings or trees
A: your scenery.ini has wrong order of this scenery, sort it like above
Q: XP11 crashed, with error that it cannot find textures referenced from terrain
A: You did not ran the texture conversion utility inside zOrtho4XP folders, see instructions above
Q: Scenery has errors, missing objects
A: You are missing one or more libraries, you can download them from ORG.
If you still have the errors, let me know, there are some ways to delete or download missing objects etc.
