LSZE - Bad Ragaz - Switzerland

LSZE is a small airfield located in Bad Ragaz, deep in the Swiss Alps. It has a very challenging approach because of its proximity to the mountains and its short runway. If you are a GA fanboy and you love flying into small airports, this scenery is for you, enjoy! This scenery only includes the Bad Ragaz airport. I recommend to use ortho4XP for more realism. Please keep in mind that THIS SCENERY HAS NOT BEEN TESTED, the libraries might not all be necessary, but i recommend you to install all of them just in case. Feel free to give me your feedback or to report any problem.

Gaspe History:
Gaspe airport is located on the most east point of the south shore of Quebec. The airport is operated mainly by GA and 3 airlines, one of which is currently not operating due to the on-going pandemic but will most likely resume operation in the future, which is Air Canada Jazz. The 2 other companies operating in Gapse are PAL Airlines (Dash 8 ) and Pascan (Jetstream 32, Saab 340, PC-12). The airport is equip with one runway (10/28) with a LOC and VOR.

Húsavík Airport | PEAK Simulations

We at PEAK Simulations have now released our second edition to our scenery collection, Húsavík Airport in northern Iceland. It might seem like a piece of cake to fly in there, but the winds can have the odds stacked up against you at times.
If you’re lucky enough to get yourself touched down on our 1,6-kilometer long custom runway, you’ll be greeted by a highly detailed rendition of the airport, with equally good ground textures. This domestic airport has commercial traffic from Reykjavík, Iceland’s capital, that consists of mostly Eagle Air, also known as Flugfélagið Ernir, Dornier Do-328’s. General aviation is also welcome here with the northern hangar up the runway! Hope you find this airport just as stunning and welcoming as the Icelandic landscape around it!

KIAG Niagara Falls International, New York
This Airport is located about 6 NM due East of "The Falls" in Niagara Falls, NY.
The airport is set up with ILS ONLY for Runray 28R, and there is either PAPI or VASI available for all other Runways. I set up ATC to keep most departures in the United States Boundaries, but if flying real weather conditions, and using ATC, be prepared to cross into and out of Canada frequently, with TONS of radio frequency changes.
My layout uses a few OpenSceneryX objects, and also Autogate 161 from Marginal.
I took the liberty of adjusting the Terminal and GA area dimensions to make the roads in the HD mesh V3 scenery interesting "Eye Candy". (see attached Capture1.jpg for suggested rendering options).
By the way, If you decide to fly using the Instrument Approach Procedure (IAP) Charts, the navigational "fixes" on the charts are NOT listed in X-Plane's database (see Capture2.jpg).
When flying into this airport, for the most part it's either "Fly by Eye" or stay at the gate!

Wonsan Kalma International Airport (ZKWS)

Kalma Airport (ZKWS) is a dual-use civil and military in Wonsan, North Korea. A new international terminal and passenger ramp opened in September 2015.
Hi everyone! This airport was used on our World Tour and was created using WED from the ground up. It is far from perfect but certainly a beautiful and fun area to fly in. In the scenery file you will find only contains xp11 objects with the use of SAM at the terminal gates. Imagery in WED was out of date and also I did not find charts for this airport. so google really helped with the airport, surroundings, and taxiway names etc.

KSFF Felts Field Airport

KSFF - Felts Field Airport, Spokane, WA
Located north-east of downtown Spokane on the south shore of the Spokane River. The is a water runway for the float plane flyers. I have not figured out yet how to place a dock along the shore that you can pull up along side with a plane in XP.
This is a busy GA airport in real life with about 150 operations a day. There are over 160 aircraft based at this airport. There are two paved runways 4L/22R, 4R/22L. There is also a grass runway right next to 4R/22L, not used very much that I have seen.
Please be aware that this airport changed their runway numbers two years ago. The old numbers were 3L/21R, 3R/21L. The default XP NAVAIDs use the only numbers.
This is one of my WED contest submittals.

Najaf Al-Ashraf International Airport

This is a scenery I made for a long time but wasn't going to upload it.
I will do Baghdad or Sulaymaniyah Airport next if I have time.
On 20 July 2008 the Najaf Authorities hosted the ceremonial opening attended by the Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki who stepped out of the first official plane.[2]
The Najaf Governorate represented by the Deputy Governor Abd al-Husayn Abtan and Najaf Investment Commission[3] signed a Memorandum of Agreement dated 24 June 2008 with Al-Aqeelah Holding[4] authorizing it for one year to finalize the construction of the airport and five years subject to renewal to manage the airport. Currently Aqeeq Aviation Holding a subsidiary of Al-Aqeelah Holding is overseeing this.
The construction phase comprises the construction of the VIP lounge, Arrival and Departure Halls, Taxiway, Air cargo, purchasing all airport equipments including Ground Handling Equipments, technical supplies, Navigation Aids, Dining Facilities and lodging sites for employees.
Since 2009, more airlines have begun service to Najaf, including Gulf Air, Middle East Airlines, Qatar Airways, Syrian Air and Turkish Airlines

NZKT Kaitaia– NZ Stories 07

There is a document in this download called “Upgrades.” Do read it as I’ve removed some of the weird story telling items from some sceneries so they return to more normal airports again and also improved some of my other old airports too. The document tells you what and where to get them from.
This whole project is designed around trying to make things to fit with the Lyndiman ortho. It’s good so it’s worth the effort of the download and you can find it here.

This is NZKT Kaitaia which is on North Island in New Zealand. From a gateway version it’s the usual thing of library objects and bit of creativity to cover for the lack of information as I didn’t find too much for this airport. The gateway version did have two runways but satellite images really don’t give the impression that one of them is still active so that’s what you’ve got in here and it’s a single runway airport.
The NZ stories. - As well as the airport there is also a document called “The NZ Stories 07.” The story involves five airports from me which I’m going to upload in this batch. The NZ Stories are a little route with missions and a reason why you’re going to be making the trip to the airports to help bring things to life. It’s a bit of stupid fun and you might enjoy that kind of thing or you might not so it’s up to you.
Each chapter does follow on from the last and make reference to it (and also the random photos I keep putting in each download) so to get the best out of all this and not be confused by it then you should start with chapter 01 and do them in the right order. If you do follow the story then it would also be better to not visit my airports first to have a look around. Let the story uncover any easter eggs for you as you go along.
Other contents - There is a small document which has info about other tweaks I’ve done to my X Plane to make things look as they do in the photos. It’s there if you want to have a look.
Installation - Usual stuff, download, unzip, put in Custom Scenery, moan at me in the comments section if it doesn’t work.
PS – I do sometimes miss comments so if you post one and I don’t reply in a day or two then send me a private message instead as I will get that.
Libraries - Seriously, just search for the master list of libraries and download the lot of them. I haven’t used all of them but by the time I finish with New Zealand I may well have done and with other people making other nice scenery it’s just useful to have everything.

EPBC Babice Warsaw Poland

Warsaw-Babice, EPBC, is located near Bemowo just outside of Warsaw, Poland. The airport was a former military airport and still has a small Military University of Technology located on the airport.
Although not evident on XP, the city is starting to surround the airport.
Make sure you have OpensceneryX , RE_Library.
The scenery texture clutter seen in the pics are from Urban Maxx Extreme.
XP 9 users: You might try the airport as long as you have the above scenery libraries loaded. You will probably get some errors due to XP 10 objects not seen, but it is worth a try. Not responsible for injuries due to smacking your head in frustration.

This is an X-Plane 11 scenery package for Tulum Naval Airbase (ICAO: MMTU, IATA: TUY, old MM49), which is a military airport serving the Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico. The airport is primarily used for military aviation, and occasionally by general aviation as well. No commercial service is currently offered from the airport.
It includes corrected aprons, ramps, gates, taxiways, lighting system, city buildings, ortho-photoscenery for the airfield area, and airport ground services (like push back).
This scenery was tested and is operational (as of October 09, 2018) in "X-Plane 11.26 64 bit", Windows 10 Home.

PADU_Unalaska_Dutch_Harbor_AK

I have a MSFS conversion of PADU, Unalaska, Dutch Harbor. I was unable to contact the author to get permission to post that on X-Plane, so I decided to build an X-Plane version of PADU from scratch, using the MSFS one as a guide. So here it is, using the default .apt data and building on that.
The work was done with the help of FS2XPlane, Google Earth and WED, Overlay Editor, and OpensceneryX. YOU MUST HAVE OPENSCENERYX INSTALLED TO SEE THIS AIPORT AT ITS BEST, So I recommend you download it from http://www.opensceneryx.com/ Some objects are from converted MSFS sceneries, all converted with the necessary permissions. The cars are from the default LOWI scenery, so thanks to the originator of that scenery.
Thanks to Marginal for Overlay Editor and FS2XPlane, Ben Supnik for WED and the contributors to and originators of OpensceneryX.
Not entirely accurate as the X-Plane Coastline doesn't replicate real life, but reasonably close, very attractive, and much better that the inaccurate default, which was just a runway with a taxiway that doesn't really exist.
Installation : Unzip to a temporary folder, drill down then find and put the PADU_Unalaska_Dutch_Harbor_AK folder into your X-Plane Custom Scenery folder.
As usual, if you spot any errors, let me know by PM'ing me and I'll raise an update if possible.

KGSO Piedmont Triad International Airport

Piedmont Triad International Airport (KGSO) is an airport located in the center of North Carolina just west of Greensboro, serving Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem as well as the entire Piedmont Triad Region in North Carolina.
Information about this facility can be found here: http://www.aopa.org/airports/KGSO For X-Plane, the ILS system for Runway 5L is not properly aligned as per FAA Charts. X-plane has been notified via the Gateway. I also uploaded this layout to the gateway, and it and some of my other work can be found here: http://gateway.x-plane.com/artist/page/754 Since I uploaded it to the Gateway, I only used Laminar Scenery. If you want Autogate, simply replace my ramps in WED with Marginal's autogate ramps. Feel free to modify and improve this layout if you wish. I have included ground traffic routes, as well as ATC Runway use routes for Calm, easterly and westerly wind conditions. Comments and criticism greatly appreciated. Matt

EPLB - Lublin Airport

Lublin Airport (Port Lotniczy Lublin) (IATA: LUZ, ICAO: EPLB) is an airport in Poland serving Lublin and the surrounding region. The site is located about 10 km (6.2 miles) east of central Lublin, adjacent to the town ofŚwidnik. The airport has a 2520 × (45 + 2 × 7.5) m runway, and the terminal facilities are capable of handling 4 Boeing 737-800 class aircraft simultaneously. Construction began in the fall of 2010 and the official opening took place on December 17, 2012. The new airport replaced the grass airstrip (1200 × 50 m) which served the PZL-Świdnik helicopter factory and was known as Świdnik Airport with the ICAO identifier EPSW.
This is a rather simple lego brick rendering of the airport as I did not create the new terminal. For the rest the airport is as close as I could create it based on the online documentation. Even the old EPSW with it's aeoclub is still available for use.

OMAM Al Dhafra Air Base

Al Dhafra Air Base is located in the United Arab Emirates approximately 20 miles (32 km) south of Abu Dhabi and approximately 70 miles (113 km) southwest of Dubai. It is operated by the United Arab Emirates Air Force. There is a strong United States military presence here. U.S. aircraft stationed include F-15 fighters, U-2 reconnaissance aircraft and E-3 Sentry AWACS aircraft. Various USAF units have done, and continue to do, temporary duty here, including F-22 and F-35 squadrons.
The base serves as the headquarters of the United Arab Emirates Air Force Western Air Command . It hosts the UAE Air Force Fighter Wing, comprising the 1st Shaheen Squadron, 2nd Shaheen Squadron, and 3rd Shaheen Squadron which are equipped with the Lockheed Martin F-16E/F Desert Falcon). The base is also home to the 71st and 76th Fighter Squadrons which operate the Dassault Mirage 2000-9EAD/DAD.
Static aircraft in this scenery are by David Austin, The Privateer, Maou, Planebuilder, and --Michael--. The antennas are by Headwind H.
I highly recommend (if you don’t already have it) the Abu Dhabi City VFR landmarks and OMAA airport by pilot83. It contains orthos that cover this base and beyond. The base matches very well with the orthos. Make sure this scenery is above the Abu Dhabi city and airport sceneries in the scenery.ini file, otherwise the base objects will not appear.

KHST Homestead Air Reserve Base
Florida, USA.
This is my rendition of Homestead ARB for the WED contest. Most of the critical assets have been represented by the default elements available in WED. The base itself is aligned with the local road system so you may easily drive on and off the base with X-bug. The water tower remains for the benefit of the "old timers." Some of the newer civilian installations that have sprouted up outside the cantonment area have not been represented. I may add them in future versions. Many base structures that were actively used before Hurricane Andrew in 1992 are either abandoned or simply non-existent today.

This base is a good starting point for many adventures, like bombing and strafing practice at Avon Park, hurricane chasing, paying a visit to our southern neighbors or dropping in at Mac Dill AFB to spend the weekend.

Important! In X-Plane menu Settings/Rendering Options, you must disable the Runways follow terrain contour option and restart X-Plane for the scenery to work correctly.
Known issues
“Runways follow terrain contour” option must be disabled in X-plane, otherwise objects will be floating above ground.
Back sides of taxiway signs are lit.

LIPM Aeroclub Marzaglia

Italy.
Questo è il mio primo aeroporto realizzato interamente con Sketchup, WED e Photoshop.
Ad eccezione dei mezzi (macchine ed F104) e degli alberi, ho realizzato tutto partendo da zero.
Un ringraziamento particolare va a Piergiorgio Goldoni, socio dell'Aeroclub di Modena, che mi ha mandato tutte le foto necessarie per la realizzazione delle textures, ed in genere a tutti i soci dell'Aeroclub che sono stati estremamente gentili e disponibili.
Un ringraziamento, ancora, a tutto il forum di x-plane.it che mi ha aiutato, dandomi consigli e incoraggiamento; ormai considero x-plane.it la mia famiglia virtuale :-)
Per istallarlo, basta scompattare il file dentro la Cartella Custom Scenery di Xplane.
Importante, infine, occorre avere istallato le librerie sia Openscenery che di Runscenery.

This is my first airport built entirely with Sketchup, Photoshop and WED.
With the exception of vehicles (cars and F104) and the trees, I made everything from scratch.

To install it, just unzip the file into the Custom Scenery folder of Xplane.
Importantly, finally, you must have installed the libraries Openscenery and Runscenery.

Canada CYZD Downsview ON
CYZD Downsview in the Heart of Toronto is home of the Bombardier Q400 assembly line.
It has now been invaded by car manufacturers but was home of De Havilland and Avro.
A very historically significant airport.
Good for V8.64 and v9, not tested in V10
