  2. Japan RJCW Wakanai

One year ago I created this Airport for the Scenery Gateway.
Now that I have more experience with scenery creation, I updated the Scenery and improved it!
(Scenery Gateway also did get an update)
    Scenery has:
    SAM
    Orthophoto
some custom objects I converted from an old FSX scenery.

Since I started to use XP11 I have spent a lot of time creating content for it.
So if you like my works and want to support me a little, fell free to spend me a coffee.

  3. Fifth Element/ New-York overlay 8.40

After the release of dad's aircrafts from the "Fifth Element", I felt a little frustrated and made these big buildings. It is very basic as it was made with plane-maker and converted in .obj from that.
    BE CAREFUL:
this scenery contains many, many, many huge, really huge objects!
I have an Imac G5 2 Ghz with 1 Go DDR SDRAM and I'm stuck at 20 fps.
So, it doesn't apply to low configurations.
I added some hard pads so that you can land on some buildings and inside car parks.
To see more screenshots, go to this page.

And you can find the cab and the police car in the V8 UFO section of this download manager.

  5. WAHH Adisutjipto by 31ND Aviation & AA_Angga Scenery (FS2XP Conversion) with Updated Layouts

NOTE: All orthophotos in the preview images are generated using Ortho4XP with Google Maps as the source. You can get Ortho4XP here. Also there's no static aircraft in this scenery excluding several cosmetic additions mentioned below. Otherwise all aircraft depicted on the gates in the screenshots are from Just Flight's Traffic Global XP.
This has been originally uploaded by an org forum user back in 2018. It was a direct FS2XPlane conversion of 31ND Aviation & AA_Angga Scenery's Adisutjipto Intl scenery for FS2004 & FSX. Either due to the fact the account associated with the original upload got suspended, or that it got taken down due to copyright reasons, the file has been unavailable to download from 2019 or some sorts. I managed to download the scenery before it was taken down. For the times I used the scenery, there has been several major issues I have with the original conversion:
    - The scenery is way too out of proportions, with the layout not corresponding both with the satellite imagery AND real-world airport specifications,
    - No night lighting on the buildings due to the fact that the original scenery not having them to begin with, and
    - Misplaced buildings due to the first point.
This scenery package is a major revamp of the original FS2XPlane conversion. The revamp addressed most if not all of the issues that I mentioned above. This new scenery now features:
    - Fully reworked runway, pavement and taxiway layout to correspond the real data of the airport, mostly accurate according both to the satellite imagery and charts provided by Jeppesen.
    - Repositioned building objects corresponding with available satellite imagery.
    - Night lighting added to most building objects.
    - Additional night lighting added in the form of streetlights and apron floodlights for both military and civilian aprons.
    - Improved AI taxi routes to correspond with the latest 2020 operation of the airport according to the Jeppesen chart.
    - Removed several unnecessary objects from the original conversion.
    - The addition of windsocks and taxiway signs corresponding to the real-world operation of the airport.
    - SAM Marshallers on each gate on the civilian apron.
    - Additional eye-candy features such as new flag posts, the MiG-15 in front of the Akademi Angkatan Udara main building south of the airport (and a MiG-21 to represent a missile next to it since I haven't found a model for that particular missile in XP), catwalk connecting both the A & B terminals, abandoned Batavia Air 737-300 (represented by an FAIB XpressAir 733) on the end of taxiway NP, and much more.
Credit goes to the original author of the scenery for FS9/FSX itself, which are 31ND Aviation (Fajar Dirgan) and AA_Angga Scenery (Angga Ade Sahfitra), for the base 3D modelling of the objects and the original layout. Their contacts can be listed down below:

For legal reasons, I've personally contacted one of the original authors of the scenery in order to upload this here with his approval. Full credits can be seen in the "Readme.txt" file provided with the package, although it's all in Indonesian. Also credits to whoever it is from the org forums who uploaded the initial FS2XP conversion that prompted me to revamp this scenery from the first place.
Installation: Simply drop the "WAHH FD 31" folder in your Custom Scenery folder.

  7. KBGR Bangor International Airport

    Bangor, Maine.

Bangor International Airport (KBGR) was originally an active USAF B-52 base. It has a single 11,440 ft runway – anything that flies can land in Bangor, and often does! In addition to the commercial airport side that services primarily regional air carriers, the airport also has a major Air National Guard contingent (the 101st Air Refueling Wing MAINEiacs) and a thriving general aviation section. Each of the three functions has its own location and facilities on airport grounds. On the other side of the runway is a busy aircraft rehab and maintenance concern that has a large variety of airplanes and types filling up its tarmac.

In-flight emergencies over the Atlantic land at Bangor by protocol – regardless of aircraft type. Troop carriers (military and charter flights) stop over at Bangor for fuel and services as well as troop rest. Even Air Force One stays at Bangor whenever the President is making an extended stay in New York or other New England locations to facilitate security of the airplane on the ground. Navy P-3s were almost daily visitors at Bangor when NAS Brunswick ME was still active – shooting touch and goes – and NATO fighters transiting to and from training and joint exercises in the US routinely stop over in Bangor.

This is a first time attempt at a lego-construction made with Overlay Editor using X-Plane resources plus objects from Open Scenery X, RU Scenery, and Flags of USA – no custom objects. I have used a number of static objects as credited below, in some cases customizing the paint schemes to reflect the location (the Austin KC-135 and Hypersonic Test Pilot’s UH-60) and to vary the aircraft assortment (using Austin’s F14 object, for example). (And I admit that the Navy presence is greater than actually occurs, reflecting my own bias for things USN - delete them on your own if it offends you). Otherwise, stock objects throughout. The intent is not to model the Bangor airport precisely, but to provide eye-candy characteristic of the airport and its traffic to enhance the experience of flying in and out of KBGR – taxi around, or fly low and slow over the field – and have stuff to look at when you do!

To install, unzip and put the folder "KBGR Bangor" in your Custom Scenery folder.

Credits – (if I have overlooked anyone, I apologize - it was inadvertent).

Dave Austin/USAFR – military aircraft, vehicles
    Spacedust – aircraft
    Rob Vitale/Moffettflyer – P-3s/object liveries
    Hypersonic Test Pilot – UH60s
    Planebuilder – various aircraft
    Robert 77 – UH60 paints
Freddy De Pues/Frede - military aircraft, objects
Michael Hoge – helos & military vehicles
Note: Surry NDB has disappeared from XP. It is restored here because it actually exists and it aligns perfectly with KBGR runway 33 from 28 miles out - too important to leave out. Sooner or later I suppose that will be corrected by X-Plane – in the meantime…
Please note – if you do an X-Plane update or upgrade, the NAVAID upgrade will be deleted. You can put it back in. See included ReadMe file. Or save a copy of this earth_nav.dat and re-install.

  9. EGYK - RAF Elvington Yorkshire 1942 With WWII Library

Welcome to RAF Elvington in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside. During WWII, RAF Elvington was a Bomber Command Station flying 20 Halifax Aircraft. As well as 77 Squadron, there was a Squadron of French Airmen stationed there. Unfortunately in 1992, the Station was closed & bought by a band of dedicated enthusiasts & became The Yorkshire Air Museum. www.yorkshireairmuseum.org
I was privileged in 2014 to visit the Museum near York & I must say it's a credit to the people who have restored it from a wasteland.

The very talented tdg has already made a current day scenery. My scenery is a representation of Elvington back in 1942 at the height of the War. This is a culmination of about a Month's solid work & includes dozens of my own custom made objects as WWII objects are hard to find.
Please feel free to use the objects in the library for your own period sceneries.

The scenery includes Custom made Nissen Huts, Sheds, People, Lighting Gas Street Lamps, Vehicles, Halifax Bombers, DC3/C47 in RAF Colours, A Fictional Representation Of Elvington Village With Factory & Trams With Sheds & The One I'm Very Proud Of, The WWII Elvington Tower Building.

Version 2.0 adds the Custom Chapel Building.

I must say thank you to Einstein for his T2 Hangars which are probably the only ones large enough to fit a Halifax in.
Thanks To Tony From World2XPlane for some stunning buildings, Sheep & Terrific Foliage.
Thanks To Dom Smith For His Valuable Advice & Editing The Apt File.
Thanks To The Mad Professor For The Halifax Bomber From Which The Static Model Was Made.

This is an X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 10 scenery package for Aeroclube do Amazonas / Flores Airfield (ICAO: SWFN, no IATA), which is a flight school and general aviation airfield located in the Manaus, Amazonas, in Brazil.
It includes corrected aprons, ramps, gates, taxiways, lighting system, city buildings, ortho-photoscenery for the airfield area, and (XP11 only) airport ground services (like push back).
The Aeroclube do Amazonas (ACA) is an association of pilots and civil aviation school, located in the neighborhood of Flores, south-central zone of the city of Manaus, in the Amazon rainforest, in Brazil. Founded on April 30, 1940, it is now one of the oldest civil aviation schools still operating in Brazil. In addition to the aeroclube, several aerial taxi companies operate, and mainly, the parachutists. Skydiving schools have extreme safety both at the operational level and in the maintenance of their equipment. In addition to all these activities, ACA has an Aeromodelismo track homologated by the Brazilian Confederation of Aeromodelling (COBRA).
This scenery was tested and is operational (as of July 06, 2017) in "X-Plane 11.02r1 64 bit", Windows 10 Home. It was also tested and is also operational (as of July 06, 2017) in "X-Plane 10.51 64 bit", Windows 10 Home.

  16. FAVR Vredendal 1.0

    FAVR – Vredendal Municipal Airport

Vredendal Municipal Airport is on the West Coast of South Africa and about 256km (140NM) from Cape Town, heading 358 degrees – in the Elephants River Valley which is one of the largest wine producing regions in South Africa. Vredendal boasts with the largest Winery in the Southern Hemisphere.

In the early nineties a local mining company donated a single paved runway to the town Vredendal. Although there is an airfield right next to the town, it did not serve the mining company’s safety regulations. First, the original Vredendal Airfield has dirt runways and was not suitable for the mining company’s King Air B200 and B300 or a small biz jet. Secondly, the old airfield lies in the valley which can become fogged in the mornings and will only clear from noon onwards.

The new airport is on a ridge outside the town and was initially equipped with runway end lights, two single white lights halfway down the runway and with big concrete markers along the length of the runway. The landing zones is initially the full width of the runway but further down the asphalt portion of the runway becomes narrower with the dirt shoulders hard padded to make up the overall width of the runway.

The airport act as a hub for serious medical evacuations by Netcare 911 using the AMS Red Cross Air Ambulance – a PC-12. Initially the plane could land at night, but over time the local township people vandalized the airport, stole the power cables and even demolished the security hut. Even without lighting, the airport was still used at night using vehicle lights as the runway end lights, but since rocks and other fodder were thrown on the runway, only daytime operations were allowed. However, Netcare 911 has a helicopter which lands at the hospital.

I have tried my best to recreate the original airport using existing libs. I had to recreate some other objects such as the security hut and a custom forest file that were not in the libs. This is quite an arid region, called the Karoo and Knersvlakte; the vegetation was quite a challenge to recreate. There is also the PC-12 on the apron with the latest AMC livery.

Many thanks to all the support and how-did-they-do-it’s in the libraries, understanding DECALS and how to use it. I have learnt a lot and perhaps know now about 12% of scenery design.  There are many more small airfields and landiings strips in the West Coast region to come, but in time.

    HAPPY LANDINGS!

The old Vredendal Airfield is in design mode and will be released later in 2019 with some scenery of the surroundings and the town. The old airfield will have the ICAO designation FAV0 and was quite famous for its fly-ins, L-39 aerobatics (which can land on the dirt runways) and the trusty T-6 Texans doing their part.

    Installation:
There are three files to choose from

    01_FAVR_Default.zip – The default terrain scenery – for low-end PC’s

02_FAVR_Bare.zip – Some local overlay scenery for the immediate perimeter surroundings

03_FAVR_Area.zip - Some local overlay scenery for about 4-6 km radius

File 03 contains 02 contains 01. By downloading 03_FAVR_Area.zip you have the complete package.

Copy the content into the Customs Scenery folder. If you want to upgrade to the next level of scenery, copy the content in the Custom Scenery folder and overwrite if prompted.

  18. EGPE Inverness UK XP8.60+

This scenery is a conversion from the freeware MSFS2002 package for EGPE Inverness airport by Iain Gallacher. The conversion and posting of this package were done with permission from the original author.
Inverness Airport is situated at Dalcross, 7 nautical miles (13 km) northeast of the city of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands, United Kingdom. The airport is the main gateway for the north of Scotland with a wide range of scheduled services throughout the UK and Ireland. EGPE has a very picturesque setting (in XP) on the edge of the Moray Firth, amid forests and mountains. Loch Ness is a short flight away, and it makes an ideal base for exploring the highlands and islands of Scotland.
I have to say Scotland is my one of favourite my favourite places to fly at the moment, and I find the terrain on the west coast gives a pretty good representation of reality, I've spent several trips spotting the mountains I've hiked up.
Why not try a flight to Stornoway (EGPO) in the Hebrides, or fly up to Westray (EGEW) in the Orkneys to have a go at the shortest (~2 mins) scheduled airline flight in the world to neighbouring Papa Westray (EGEP).

    Quebec Mauricie
    Scenery for X-Plane 8.64 and X-Plane 9
    for X-Plane by Jacques Brault
    Copyright 2009
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This file contains 3 sceneries located in Mauricie region north of Three-River along the St-Maurice river.
The CBGO Barrage Gouin is an FS scenery file created by Mr. Jean St-Cyr and the CYLQ La Tuque and CSS7 Lac a Beauce sceneries are original FS files made by mr. Leon Louis that I have converted for use in X-Plane.
Please refer to the individual folders README files for more details.
The 3 airports in this scenery are:
CBGO Barrage Gouin (original FS scenery by Mr. Jean St-Cyr)
CSS7 Lac a Beauce (original FS scenery by Mr. Leon Louis)
CYLQ La Tuque (original FS scenery by Mr. Leon Louis)
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This scenery package constains scenery elements from the OpensceneryX.
The OpenSceneryX project is a library of scenery objects for X-Plane® v8.50 and above. It is a collaborative effort by members of the X-Plane.org community and the aim is to provide a good range of high quality scenery components for scenery authors to use in their scenery packages.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    INSTALLATION
This folder contains a set of 3 zipped folders:
    Quebec CBGO Barrage Gouin.zip
    Quebec CSS7 Lac a Beauce.zip
    Quebec CYLQ La Tuque.zip
Simply unzip each individual file to your X-Plane/Custom Scenery directory.
NOTE: The files contain OpensceneryX forest areas for use in X-Plane v8.64. X-Plane v9 users may open the sceneries in Overlay Editor and delete the forest areas if they find the forests are too dense. Do not delete the forest exclusion zones to avoid getting trees all over the place.

  20. OzXP Australia Scenery Package

    OzXP Australian Scenery Package V1.4

    Background:
I started this project to cover the demand for custom scenery airports in Australia.
This project aims to vastly enhance the realism of scenery in Australia.
I am also hoping this project encourages X-Plane users to explore new locations in Australia.

    Inspiration
Inspired by the incredible OZx (AussieX) scenery project for P3D & FSX.

    Package Features:
    * Airports
    Scenic locations
    Closed aerodromes

*See  Airport list at the bottom

    Scenery features:
⦁ Modified & Custom ground textures
    ⦁ Orthophotos
    ⦁ Multilayered decal overlays
    ⦁ Custom Terminals and objects
    ⦁ Accurate aerodrome lighting
    ⦁ Accurately placed markings

    Extras

Included in this pack are some unmarked sceneries. In order to find these sceneries you must use your own navigation!
I encourage you to discover and explore the follow locations:
    Cabramurra
    Parkes Telescope (Fly above 5000ft)
    Requirements:
For the scenery package to work correctly, you must ensure you have the necessary scenery libraries installed prior to installation of the OzXP package. The following libraries are needed:

    ALES DEV LIB
    BS 2001 Objects
    FJS Scenery Library
    gt_Library
    Handyobjects
    JB_Library
    Madagascar lib
    MisterX
    Opensceneryx
    PM Library
    PP Library
    Prefab library
    PuF Libs
    R2 Library
    RA Library
    RD Library
    RE Library
    World-models-library
    RescueX
    Ruscenery
    SAM Library
    Static GA Australia

Read the installation instructions carefully when installing these scenery libraries.

    Installation:
Unzip the files and open the folders for each state, and copy/drag the scenery folders into your 'Custom Scenery' folder under the X-Plane directory. The next step is to check the order of your Scenery.ini file. Ensure the  sits at or towards the top of the list. Check that  'OzXP' is above any Scenery Libraries, Ortho, Mesh or OSM files.

    Recommendations
To further improve the realism in Australia I recommend you download ARCAL https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/39141-arcal-aircraft-radio-control-of-aerodrome-lighting/
This .lua file allows you to activate PAL (Pilot Activated) lights just like in real life. I plan on updating this file as it is missing some Australian airfields with PAL.
Although most of the sceneries in this package contain Ortho, I would highly recommend you generate your own Ortho4XP imagery for the surrounding areas. This makes the scenery blend in nicer and look more natural in the sim.

The Ortho4XP mesh integration will also improve the runway sloping and terrain realism.

  21. LTAS Zonguldak

Zonguldak Çaycuma Airport (IATA: ONQ, ICAO: LTAS) is an airport near the city of Zonguldak, in the western Black Sea region of Turkey. It is situated close to the town of Saltukova.

  22. ENSD Sandane

This is Sandane Airport in Norway just a short hop north of Bergen. It has a tricky approach with steep fjords all around. For some unknown reason it disappeared from the download page around the 30th May so I have listed it again.
The scenery requires OpenScenery and the buildings are a close approximation to the satellite images in position and size.
Although I have been to this part of Norway I have never been to Sandane Airport so I have relied on photo & satellite images. The local authorities are looking at extending the runway by 200m to increase the safety margin for this popular tourist destination.
