About This File

This is a scenery for the Oaxac-Xoxocotlàn Intl. Airport in Mexico (MMOX). The Airport serves as a domestic and international airport. My scenery is not a perfect copy of the real one but it gives you some kind of a realistic feeling. The airport has custom night lightning!

MMOX itself has an alitude of 4989ft and one runway which is 2500 m long. This makes it quite easy to take off even with larger airliners like a 777. By the way, the airport procedures are included in the FMC of the 777 Worldliner and the 757 from Ramzess (not included this package but if you own one of those planes, you'll find the SID and STAR'S for this airport in the FMC)

I've made this scenery for one particular reason: If you want to do some landings on MHTG (Toncontin) which has one of the most difficult approaches in the world, you need an airport to start your flight from. It takes about 1h20 min from takeoff to touchdown when you fly from MMOX to MHTG. A flight which you can nicely do with a 757 or even with a 777 if you've got some 'landing-skills' for MHTG.

You may edit the scenery and use it for your own projects as long as you inform me about your project and it's freeware.
