Hi All,
Enclosed my fourth Australia Outback Airstrip Pack. Most of the strips are in the Kakadu NP region, one is at the East Coast near Cairns.
The airport layouts are designed after orthophotos therefore quite accurate, but do not contain any satellite images due to copyright issues. However, when you decide to underlay satellite images they should immediately fit perfectly together.
Most have a dust devil going around when temp is more than 32°C, kangaroos* hop into your way and cars drive around sometimes crossing your runway as people are excited to see your arrival ...
Refer to the map to see where airstrips are or use the airport menu in X-Plane.

Installation
- Unpack the zip files into your Custom Scenery directory
- Unpack the AboAndTorres.zip into your flags of the world directory

I created and used Australian plants and objects to reflect the atmosphere of the outback Australia. I think I had quite a bit of success with it. You can use and modify the artwork as long as you use it in freeware scenery. I probably will donate this to the OpenSceneryX, too.
I also played around with the pol and line function of X-Plane and could get some decent outcomes. Let me know how you like it.

It should work in XP9 BUT you have to change the header in the apt.dat from 1000 to number 850 otherwise they will not come up in the airport menu in XP9! Use ChrisK compatibilty library (see on the .org)
I am happy to remove bugs and to update the files. However, it should work without problems on any system but you never know.
Last but not least, go to this website to get into the mood for outback flying. Many of the destinations inspired me to create those airstrips.

Hi guys, took me 1.5 years to realise that I had not uploaded Daintree/Cows Bay Airport and the Wilderman Lodge... Sorry for that...
Now they are included and will give you some more destinations to fly to...
