LSGK - Saanen Airfield 1.0.0

Saanen airfield has been called 'Airport Gstaad' since 2017 and has been completely redesigned.
The handling and hangar are new and modern.
On the mountain side of the Flufplatz, however, the old earth bunkers are still there. They are still used to house some gliders.
The tents shown are set up during some high society events, e.g. polo tournaments.

About your stage, between the bunkers, there is a fair canteen, various stalls and many parked cars ... in the grass ...

There was (to my knowledge) only once this type of event at LSGK!
LSGK was originally a military aerodrome, part of the "National Reduced" (see the full description in the "download" section  from www.x-plane.fr (in french)! In addition to the bunkers, the mountain is dug a huge underground base for maintenance and upkeep of aircraft (up to the Mirage III and Tiger F5 for the last) ...
In 1996, the army ceased its exploitation for military purposes and in late 2011 it put the ground to a civil society.
The handover gives rise to the organization of a unique party that takes place in summer 2012! ... It was necessary that the planes (of Google or Bing I do not know any more) pass at this moment to the vertical of LSGK to immortalize the event!

I am the author of the other (more realistic , look at the bunkers)  scene of LSGK and other alpine airports. Having done many military courses in the DCA, aerodrome defense, I know all these terrains: - LSGK Saanen- LSMC Ulrichen - LSMJ Turtmann - LSMM Meiringen - LSTS St Stephan - LSTZ Zweisimmen
