This is an X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 10 scenery package for Teresina–Senador Petrônio Portella Airport (IATA: THE, ICAO: SBTE), which is the airport serving Teresina, PI, Brazil. Since December 22, 1999 it is named after Petrônio Portella Nunes (1925-1980) a former Mayor of Teresina, Governor of Piauí, Senator and Minister of Justice who had a key role in preparing the end of the Brazilian military government. It is operated by Infraero.
It includes corrected aprons, ramps, gates, taxiways, lighting system, city buildings, ortho-photoscenery for the airfield area, and (XP11 only) airport ground services (like push back).
The airport was opened on September 30, 1967 and since December 23, 1974 it is operated by Infraero. The airport underwent major renovations between 1998 and 2001, including the passenger terminal, runway and the construction of a new control tower. Airlines and destinations includes:
- Azul Brazilian Airlines => Campinas/SBKP, Fortaleza/SBFZ, Recife/SBRF, São Luís/SBSL
- Gol Airlines => Brasília/SBBR, Fortaleza/SBFZ, São Paulo-Guarulhos/SBGR
- LATAM Brasil => Brasília/SBBR, Fortaleza/SBFZ, São Paulo-Guarulhos/SBGR
- Piquiatuba => Parnaíba/SBPB, Picos/SNPC, São Raimundo Nonato/SWKQ
This scenery was tested and is operational (as of March 23, 2017) in "X-Plane 11 Public Beta #15 64 bit", Windows 10 Home. It was also tested and is also operational (as of March 23, 2017) in "X-Plane 10.51 64 bit", Windows 10 Home.

A set of PDF charts (updated as of March 2017) are provided for SBTE/THE airport. They are official and free of charge, provided by the Brazilian aeronautical authority. You can find them in the folder "SBTE Charts", in this package. These charts are constantly updated by the Brazilian aeronautical authority. X-Plane 11 Installation: Two folders are provided. You only need the one marked XP11. Copy and paste the folder "BR PI SBTE - Teresina Airport XP11 v1.0.0", and all their content, inside your "\X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery\" folder, as usual in the X-Plane world. Do not copy the folder marked XP10.
