This is an X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 10 scenery package for Joinville-Lauro Carneiro de Loyola Airport (IATA: JOI, ICAO: SBJV) which is the airport serving Joinville, Brazil. It is named after a local entrepreneur and politician. It is operated by Infraero.
It includes corrected aprons, ramps, gates, taxiways, lighting system, city buildings, ortho-photoscenery for the airfield area, and (XP11 only) airport ground services (like push back).
First of July of 1934, cold and sunny morning in the small and quiet Joinville at that time with little more than forty thousand inhabitants. But this would not be an ordinary day, it would be a day that would go down in history and stay in the memory of the population. Around nine o'clock the LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin appears for the first time. Perhaps this event inspired those who would be the pioneers of aviation in Joinville. It is a fact that the Joinville Gliders Club was founded on November 5, 1937 and the members were the pioneers of aviation in our city. Later on January 25, 1938, the members of the Joinville Gliders Club gathered in Gymnastics society founded the Aeroclube of Joinville. In June 1941 the Ministry of Aeronautics carried out an inspection at the Guilherme Road landing field, which was considered unsuitable for aviation practice; In the same report it was determined that another land was chosen for the construction of the Airfield / Airport. The new terminal building was opened on March 8, 2004.
This scenery was tested and is operational (as of April 01, 2017) in "X-Plane 11.00 RC #1 64 bit", Windows 10 Home. It was also tested and is also operational (as of April 01, 2017) in "X-Plane 10.51 64 bit", Windows 10 Home.
