This is an X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 10 scenery package for Rio Branco-Plácido de Castro International Airport (IATA: RBR, ICAO: SBRB) is the airport serving Rio Branco, Brazil. Since April 13, 2009 the airport is named after José Plácido de Castro (1873–1908) a politician leader of the Acrean Revolution. It is operated by Infraero.
It includes corrected aprons, ramps, gates, taxiways, lighting system, city buildings, ortho-photoscenery for the airfield area, and (XP11 only) airport ground services (like push back).
The airport was opened on November 22, 1999 as a replacement to Presidente Médici International Airport, which was then closed. The old Presidente Médici Airport was already obsolete when the court ruled that the area should return to its owner, a private individual. Work on the new airport had to be started quickly. The BR-364 highway was then doubled to facilitate its access that until today is complicated by the enormous distance of the center of the city. In May 2010, work began on the recovery of the courtyard and runway system at Rio Branco International Airport, required due to problems in the terrain on which the runway and take-offs were built, which suffers from expansive soil Compromising their integrity. With little more than 10 years of operation, the track life has been reduced by more than half of what was foreseen. There is no forecast of completion of works, until then, will be operated with airplanes of reduced capacity.
This scenery was tested and is operational (as of April 05, 2017) in "X-Plane 11.00 RC #1 64 bit", Windows 10 Home. It was also tested and is also operational (as of April 05, 2017) in "X-Plane 10.51 64 bit", Windows 10 Home.

Additional scenery libraries needed: Only the default X-Plane 11 libraries, by Laminar Research, are needed. No third party libraries are used.
