This is an X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 10 scenery package for Boa Vista-Atlas Brasil Cantanhede International Airport (IATA: BVB, ICAO: SBBV) which is the airport serving Boa Vista, in Brazil. Since April 13, 2009 the airport is named after Atlas Brasil Cantanhede (1917-1973), a pilot and politician who in the 1950s pioneered aviation in Roraima state. It is the northernmost Brazilian airport served by scheduled flights. It is operated by Infraero. Some of its facilities are shared with the Boa Vista Air Force Base (pt) of the Brazilian Air Force.
It includes corrected aprons, ramps, gates, taxiways, lighting system, city buildings, ortho-photoscenery for the airfield area, and (XP11 only) airport ground services (like push back).
The airport was opened on February 19, 1973, and underwent its first renovation in 1998. The runway, terminal and the apron were then enlarged. On September 14, 2009 a second major renovation was completed increasing the capacity of the airport to handle 330,000 passengers/year, the terminal area to 7,000 square metres (75,300 sq ft), parking space and installing two jetways. Airlines and destinations include:
- Azul Brazilian Airlines to/from => Manaus/SBEG, Campinas/SBKP.
- Gol Airlines to/from => Brasília/SBBR
- LATAM Brasil to/from => Brasília/SBBR
This scenery was tested and is operational (as of April 12, 2017) in "X-Plane 11.00 RC #1 64 bit", Windows 10 Home. It was also tested and is also operational (as of April 12, 2017) in "X-Plane 10.51 64 bit", Windows 10 Home.

A set of PDF charts (updated as of April 2017) are provided for SBBV/BVB airport. They are official and free of charge, provided by the Brazilian aeronautical authority. You can find them in the folder "SBBV Charts", in this package. These charts are constantly updated by the Brazilian aeronautical authority. X-Plane 11 Installation: Two folders are provided. You only need the one marked XP11. Copy and paste the folder "BR RR SBVB - Boa Vista Intl Airport XP11 v1.0.0" into your "\X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery" folder, as usual in the X-Plane world. Do not copy the folder marked XP10.
