This is an X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 10 scenery package for Sílvio Name Júnior Regional Airport (IATA: MGF, ICAO: SBMG), which is the airport serving Maringá, Brazil. It is named after Sílvio Name Júnior (1967-2000), a local businessman and politician who died on an air crash. It is operated by Terminais Aéreos de Maringá – SBMG, a semi-independent Transportation Authority of Maringá, indirectly related to the Municipality of Maringá, and under the supervision of Aeroportos do Paraná (SEIL).
It includes corrected aprons, ramps, gates, taxiways, lighting system, city buildings, ortho-photoscenery for the airfield area, and (XP11 only) airport ground services (like push back).
The airport serves an area composed of the city of Maringá and neighboring communities, with a total number of 2 million inhabitants. The new terminal was built between October, 1994 and September 16, 2000. It began operating on April 25, 2001. The airport is very modern and the runway of the airport is capable to handle major regional and domestic flights. Its terminal is designed to handle more than 430,000 passengers per year. Airlines and destinations include:
- Azul Brazilian Airlines to/from => Campinas/SBKP, Curitiba/SBCT
- Gol Airlines to/from => Curitiba/SBCT, São Paulo-Congonhas/SBSP, São Paulo-Guarulhos/SBGR
This scenery was tested and is operational (as of May 07, 2017) in "X-Plane 11.01 64 bit", Windows 10 Home. It was also tested and is also operational (as of May 07, 2017) in "X-Plane 10.51 64 bit", Windows 10 Home.

A set of PDF charts (updated as of April 2017) are provided for SBMG/MGF airport. They are official and free of charge, provided by the Brazilian aeronautical authority. You can find them in the folder "SBMG Charts", in this package. These charts are constantly updated by the Brazilian aeronautical authority. X-Plane 11 Installation: Two folders are provided. You only need the one marked XP11. Copy and paste the folder "BR PR SBMG - Maringa Airport XP11 v1.0.0" into your "\X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery" folder, as usual in the X-Plane world. Do not copy the folder marked XP10.
