About This File

EGWU - RAF Northolt

Following on from my recent Repaint for the Avro RJ100 / BAe 146 of the Queen's Flight.... https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/44727-the-queens-flight-g-hmqe-avro-rj100/ You now have the Airport from which it flies (EGWU RAF Northolt). This is certainly the most detail & time I've ever put into a Scenery. Custom & Library Objects are in abundance. A big thanks to Scottish Wings for his Library & especially for the stunning Grass Ground Texture without which this Scenery would have been nothing like it is. Thanks to Cami De Bellis for Her Library which has been used throughout.

RAF Northolt (IATA: NHT, ICAO: EGWU) is a Royal Air Force station in South Ruislip, 2 nautical miles (3.7 km; 2.3 mi) from Uxbridge in the London Borough of Hillingdon, west London. Approximately 6 mi (10 km) north of London Heathrow Airport, the station also handles a large number of private civil flights. Northolt has one runway in operation, spanning 1,687 m × 46 m (5,535 ft × 151 ft), with a grooved asphalt surface.
