CYLA (YLA) Aupaluk
Aupaluk, “Where the earth is red”, is the smallest community in Nunavik with a population of about 170. What makes it unique is it did not develop around trading or mission posts but was a traditional camp for the Inuit and in 1975, Inuit from other communities that hunted here planned and conceived the site of the village. Aupaluk was incorporated as a Northern Village in 1981 and opened the co-operative store shortly after.
The only access to Nunavik communities is by air with Air Inuit or First Air – both Inuit-owned. No roads connect Nunavik to southern Quebec nor one village to the other.
When I started flying around Ungava Bay, I found several airports not represented in the X-Plane world so I decided to take a crack at my first WED scenery.
This is now a complete realization of the airport and the village with over 100 individually placed objects. Interpreting an entire village with library objects does not happen with one or two libraries unfortunately so you will need the following:

My appreciation goes to all the folks who put so much work into the libraries and making them available for folks like myself who have no skill, talent,or time for 3D work. I’d also like to offer a nod of appreciation to Canada4XPlane for encouraging me to do this and post it.

This is a complete reworking of the Aupaluk airport and village to eliminate the autogen that totally did not fit the airport. The airport has been entirely redesigned and the village was completed with each object being individually placed to best represent what is in that location according to a 1/2018 map of the village that I found after my first imagining of the airport based on the limited data I had. Unfortunately, I know of no good orthophoto source for this area but the tradeoff is it works really well with any winter mod you might want to use.
Every item is from a library with the exception of the terminal.
If you find anything out of place, please let me know. I began to lose track of things after about #50
