The airport is serving Xichang, the capital city of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province, China.
Near this city , about 30 km, there is the Xichang Satellite Launch Center.
The airport is located in high mountain valley above 1500 m and has one runway with unidirectional ILS.
It is surrounded by a lot of agricultural greenhouses, where hardworking Chinese peasants grow a lot of vegetables.
Beautiful sunsets are waiting for you if you arrive here in the evening.
To continue the ILS approach to runway 36, you must perform Hold Position over SB NDB to descend to final approach altitude,
or fly over the airport and turn around at the far end of the valley for VOR DME landing on runway 18.
It is a domestic airport, but nothing prevents you from flying here from where you want.
To improve the impression I recommend to use Ortho4XP and enable RFTC.
