Andahuaylas Airport (IATA: ANS, OACI: SPHY) is located in the Apurimac Region, Andahuaylas Province and District, 17.5 Km. from the city. It is the most important airport of the Department of Apurimac and has an asphalt track / concrete with 2500 meters long by 45 wide, Passenger terminal of four floors with 36.82 meters long by 12.12 meters wide, Main hall of 24.10 by 1.70 meters long and wide, five counters, Boarding Area of 15.80 meters long by 3.80 wide and a Control Tower of four floors with 22 meters high, which began operations in 1964 with the DS operating resolution. 14 – H (014 – 04-64) DS. 006 – 92 – TC; therefore, it is the only one that receives commercial flights regularly. It is operated by CORPAC S.A., and currently, receives flights from some airlines such as: Aero Condor Cielos Andinos Atsa and Lc Busre.
