2023 Update: I am currently in the process of overhauling and simplifying the scenery and updating it for X-Plane 12. I have updated the airport layout to the current (2023) layout with the addition of the northern apron which was recently completed. Updated all surfaces to X-Plane 12 surfaces so you get the rain effects. I am also trying to remove as many third-party library objects as possible to make installation easier! The update should be ready in the next couple of weeks.
Welcome to my first scenery package - this Da Nang International Airport layout has been accurately replicated using many of the available libraries for X-Plane, so please ensure you have them all downloaded from the master list.
As I am not a 3D modeller the terminal buildings and other buildings dotted around the place use existing buildings from the libraries.
Alternative runway textures have been used to stick as close to reality, and taxiways have a mix of different concrete and asphalt textures replicating the real airport. Taxiway signs throughout.
The airport has been completed with SAM gates and marshalers at all gates.
WT3 routes, parking definitions and airport operations file is included to ensure the best realism.
Runway 35R is almost used exclusively for arrivals and departures, so plan your flights accordingly! Special note is that west of runway 35L is not highly detailed as that side of the airport is rarely used anymore.
Orthophotos highly recommended!
