About This File

Nelson Mandela International Airport (IATA: RAI, ICAO: GVNP), also known as Praia International Airport, is the airport of Santiago Island in Cape Verde. It was opened in October 2005,[3] replacing the old Francisco Mendes International Airport. It is located about 3 km northeast of the city centre of Praia in the southeastern part of the island of Santiago.

Excellent! Great work!

It would be great if you could do a similar work with GVAC. The one in the gateway is not bad, but a realistic one would be better.

Nice airport, but the buildings need a bit more of work. They look too flat/cartoonish.

The airport looks good. However, I am confused as to how far the included ortho is supposed to extend. Like others have noted, there are very few buildings  in the Praia town area and the old airport (?) is clearly visible to the South of GVNP. This is significantly different to the screenshots posted above.

Is there something missing from the download, or did the author intend us to use Ortho4XP / World2XP to populate the wider area of Santiago?

I downloaded the scenery, great work! One problem only. At the end of the runway appears to me Francisco Mendes Airport (GVFM), how do I withdraw it?
