About This File

Raja Bhoj International Airport (IATA: BHO, ICAO: VABP) is the primary airport serving Bhopal, capital of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is the second busiest airport in state after Airport in Indore.

Runway: In 2010, the length of the runway was increased to 2,744 metres (9,003 ft), making it possible for larger aircraft to land at Bhopal. The first direct seasonal international flight from Bhopal was to Jeddah, a Hajj charter flown by Saudia on 23 October 2010 for Hajj travellers.

Renewable energy: In 2013, the airport became the first airport in the state to use solar power for running its utility grid system. A 100-kilowatt solar power plant was made operational in June 2013, with plans to install a 2-megawatt solar power plant at the airport in the future. The airport has night landing facilities, an Instrument Landing System (ILS) and CAT VII fire services.

Cargo and Logistics hub: A new Air Cargo Hub is being planned with 17 acres land sanctioned near the airport for the same, while for now; the old terminal building is being redeveloped into a Cargo Complex.

Nice work all the way around, seems everything is cleaned up in v1.0.3.  Thanks 👍

Response from the author:

I really appreciate the constant feedback i got from you. Its strange how X-plane works different for all of us. Hope you would enjoy flying in/out of this beautiful city Bhopal ( also called as City Of Lakes).

It appears to be what is a very good effort at a scenery, but is ruined by the laziness of the developers. There is clear list of what libraries are required, even though it is a requirement of posting scenery here in this forum. Instead, a laundry list of various scenery libraries have been attached as a photo, some of which aren't even used, or used for one single object in the whole scenery.

Shame, as otherwise, this would have been an excellent scenery.

Now the list of libraries has been fixed, and scenery seems to be working. Only error is there are trees on Taxiway Delta.

One star taken away because of that. Also for future reference, OpenSceneryX has been slowly implementing a number of 3rd party libraries within itself, such as Flags of the World. Next time make sure you make the calls for the objects from Open Scenery itself as that will make the list of required libraries and chances of error that much smaller.

Response from the author:

Thank you for your comment Sir. Apologies for the one wrong information I posted regarding the list of library used. This is my first scenery and thus had zero knowledge about how to find out the right library used. Be sure the library list has now been updated. And I'm sure you would give it a second try.

Edit1: Strange!! trees that are showing on your taxiway. That's not the case in my computer and from friends who have tested it - as you can see from pictures above. Also we will be working on V2 and implement changes related to Openscenery and will also work on Old/cargo Term.

Edit2: I tried adding exclusion on taxiway D. Hope it works cause the trees are not showing up on my or my friends simulator.
