After 21 months and nearly 800 hours of development, Sea2Sky in cooperation with Zero Dollar Payware are pleased to announce Tokyo Narita International airport V1.0  is officially released!

About this project:

I initially started this ambitious project knowing absolutely nothing about scenery development. I quickly realized I may have bitten off more than I could chew. Over the first year, many iterations were completed before deciding on a version that fit my liking. Majority of my time was learning new techniques and gaining valuable feedback from other talented developers. About a year into development, I was approached by @StableSystem from Zero Dollar Payware. We agreed to partner up as they have great experience with scenery design and texturing\modeling. 

I would like to announce: I have joined Zero Dollar Payware and all scenery going forward will be released under the ZDP brand. This gives us the ability to reduce the workload on specific projects while focusing on what we are good at. Expect an announcement of our next scenery soon! (Hint: It's within 3 hours of Narita).

Always appreciated the amazing scenery others create and wanted to give something back to the community. I hope all of you enjoy the work we put into this project.

 Install Instructions:

Step #1: Ensure you have all the required and updated libraries installed before proceeding! Reference the list above.

Step #2: Download the file in the link provided.

Step #3: Unpack sea2sky-zdp-narita-international-xp11-V1.0.0 into  (X-Plane 11 > Custom Scenery).

Step #4: Inside the sea2sky-zdp-narita-international-xp11-V1.0.0 folder, you will see a folder named: sea2sky-zdp-narita-international-xp11-mesh-V1.0.0. Cut and paste this folder in (X-Plane 11 > Custom Scenery). (In the end, you should have the airport folder and the separate mesh folder inside your Custom Scenery folder.

Step #5: Ensure your scenery_packs.ini file has the proper order structure! Mesh goes below the airport. For example:

SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/sea2sky-zdp-narita-international-xp11-V1.0.0/

SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/sea2sky-zdp-narita-international-xp11-mesh-V1.0.0/

It is a very good scenery But there are some disadvantages 
1. There is no indicator about gate 41 37 35 33 27 26 and 38 36 34 32
2. No Papi indicator
Besides,it is very very good thank for your scenery

Excellent terminals, great taxiway, ground textures, best-looking jetways in X-Plane, top-notch quality and also good on fps! Only downside is the fake grass, and I'd take 0.5 star away but it's free! YAY

The link in the sam pack doesn't work, I applied all but the sam pack, but the building doesn't come out. Please help

It was lovely idea to take the perfectionist approach. You don't need a review to tell how good the scenery will be.

I always get this message. I already have all the libraries and made sure that it is in proper order in scenery_packs.ini

Nice scenery but I get this error even though I have the CDB library installed?

I am running on iMac and have ALL the required libraries installed.

This error is to do with your Library. Please verify that all libraries are up to date, especially CDB Package

Great Scenery! I don't see Papi/glidescope indicator's. Is this going to be implemented in the next update?

Thank you for sharing the amazing work. However, I got some problem when installing the scenery. There is a missing file that caused the scenery not being able to load up.

Hi There,

This will be fixed in the next update. 

Some of those errors are caused by missing libraries or they are not up to date. I would verify your library order as well. (I don't know what that ZZ mesh is) it's not part of Narita. The airport should still show up even though the one texture is missing.

This is a great scenery, that allows me to fly from Taoyuan to Narita on the China Airlines A359, but why can’t I see the tower in this scenery ?

I miss the towers in the airport scenery.

Very well made scenery, you'd think it was really payware (gasp!). Love flying into and out of RJAA!

A word to those who fly online especially VATSIM: The airport layout in this scenery is outdated; RJAA has gone through a major taxiway layout change since then. Most notably the high-speed turnoffs at 16R/34L, and the area east of Terminal 2 are the most significant ones. You might get called out by ATC for not following taxi instructions, so you might have to request another route.

Overall, would still recommend this: the best RJAA freeware out there.

Mate i just landed at sunset on 16L and found my way to my gate without cheating for an outside view of taxiway numbers or markings...superb, great job!

the jetway detailing, the Toyota HiAce vans, love it!
