The Manaus Air Base (BAMN) - IATA: PLL / ICAO SBMN, Officially ALA-8 is an Operational Unit of the Brazilian Air Force, located in the municipality of Manaus, capital of the State Amazonas - Brazil.
Also known as Ponta Pelada Airport, it was opened in 1954 and, for two decades, it was the city`s main airport until the inauguration of Manaus International Airport in 1976. Located in the South Zone of the City of Manaus, it is currently used for operations of the Aeronautics, the Army and the Federal Police.
Activated on March 31, 1970, ALA-8 is a Military Organization that stands out on the national scene for its performance in the Amazon. It is the main logistics organization of the Brazilian Air Force in the Western Amazon.
The 4th BAvEx (4th Aviation Battalion of the Brazilian Army), is an Army Aviation Unit, member of the Military Command of the Amazon, operating Combat Helicopters in Manaus - AM.
The 4th BAvEx was activated as an Air Unit as of December 15, 1993. On January 1, 2005, the name was changed to the 4th Army Aviation Battalion (4th BAvEx). The Unit is the winged arm of the Amazon Military Command, currently operating with Helicopter HM-1 Pantera (Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin), HM-2 Black Hawk (Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk) and HM-4 Jaguar (Eurocopter EC-725). It manages to cay out combat missions, combat support, logistical and administrative suport for the benefit of the Subordinate Units and the Military Area Command.

Install: Unzip the file, drag the folder "SBMN - Ponta Pelada" inside your "X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery" Folder.

Aeroporto SBMN – Ponta Pelada (Base Aérea de Manaus)
A Base Aérea de Manaus (BAMN) – IATA: PLL / ICAO SBMN, Oficialmente ALA 8 é uma Unidade Operacional da Força Aérea Brasileira, localizada no município de Manaus, capital do Estado do Amazonas - Brasil.
Também conhecida como Aeroporto Ponta Pelada, foi inaugurada em 1954 e, por duas décadas, foi o principal aeroporto da cidade até a inauguração do Aeroporto Internacional de Manaus, em 1976. Localizada na Zona Sul da Cidade de Manaus, atualmente é utilizado para operações da Aeronáutica, do Exército e da Polícia Federal.
Ativada em 31 de março de 1970, a ALA 8 é uma Organização Militar que se destaca no cenário nacional por seu desempenho na Amazônia. É a principal organização logística da Força Aérea Brasileira na Amazônia Ocidental.
O 4º BAvEx (4° Batalhão de Aviação do Exército Brasileiro), Esquadrão Coronel Ricardo Pavanello, é uma Unidade de Aviação do Exército, integrante do Comando Militar da Amazônia, operando Helicópteros de Combate em Manaus - AM.
O 4º BAvEx foi ativado como Unidade Aérea a partir de 15 de dezembro de 1993. Em 01 de janeiro de 2005 sofreu alteração de denominação para 4° Batalhão de Aviação do Exército (4º BAvEx). A Unidade é o braço alado do Comando Militar da Amazônia, atualmente, operando com Aeronaves HM-1 Pantera (Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin), HM-2 Black Hawk (Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk) e HM-4 Jaguar (Eurocopter EC-725). Consegue cumprir missões de combate, apoio ao combate, apoio logístico e administrativo em proveito das Unidades Subordinadas e ao Comando Militar de Área.
Desenvolvido para o X-Plane 11 usando a biblioteca de objetos padrão do XP11 e as Bibliotecas = OpenScenery, RE Library, R2 Library, RuScenery, PP Library, The Handy Objects Library, 3D People Library, People Library, PuF Libs, MisterX Library, NAPS Library, CDB Library, Flags of The World, Madagascar Scenery Library.
Instalação: Descompactar o arquivo, coloque a pasta "SBMN - Ponta Pelada" dentro da pasta "X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery".
