About This File

October 14,
Corrected blurb error.

Update October 7, 2009
This Saskatchewan north scenery and Tom Curtis' Canadian_Rockies_105 both include airports CJY9 and CJL4 in La Loche. This update includes a dsf file which you can install to resolve overlapping objects. If you do not have Canadian_Rockies this update does nothing except add one very remote bush airstrip.

This scenery covers the northern 2/3 of Saskatchewan, Canada, from latitude 53 to 60.

Includes 54 airports, 8 unregistered airstrips (some are dubious, some are in use), and 13 Water Aerodromes.

CYPA Prince Albert is quite accurate (from my own photos), others are good if they are in high-res on Google Earth or if photos are available.

OpenSceneryX is required.

Runways described as 'treated gravel' I have represented with asphalt.

If your favourite gold mine, fishing camp, or other landmark is missing please send me photos and co-ordinates :-)

OBJECTS:

Jacques Brault: I modified and repainted his excellent DHC-2 Beaver
Planebuilder: SeaStar and several other static aircraft
Gunnar Tingvoll & Pedro van Leeuwen: I adapted their Twin Otter to a static object
Gary BKK: Fork lift truck
Mr3d: animated Flag (requires plugin)
I have borrowed vehicles from various sources. Only the Caterpillar 793D and the Terex RH340 are my work.
If you have 3s_On_Display, two of the DC-3s (wingless) are to be found within the area covered by this scenery.

I have lost the source of some objects borrowed years ago. If some are yours, please contact me for credit or removal.
