Macapá - Alberto Alcolumbre International Airport (IATA: MCP, ICAO: SBMQ) serves the city of Macapá and the state of Amapá. The airport operates flights to several Brazilian cities and currently has the capacity to receive large planes such as the Boeing 767 and the Airbus A330. The airport is the 35th busiest in Brazil and the 5th in the North Region.

Its expansion works, which will increase the capacity of 750 thousand passengers / year to 4.5 million, were resumed, and its inauguration was held on April 12, 2019.
