Flight over Nagoya. I'm trying a new livery concept for my flights in Japan. 🙂

v12.07. Standing at Shinyanga Airport (HTSY) in Tanzania. <It's dirt, Dave> <It's not that bad. Oh, you mean the runway? Yes, it is> <And you want to bring a jet fighter here? You can't land a jet fighter on a dirt runway> <The Russians do.> <This ain't Russia. And they have modified planes. You have a Dassault-Breguet Super Etendard Modernisé. It ain't built for it> <Someone always has to be the first. Remember, some things are unexplored because no-one has been there> <And somethings are unexplored because no-one came back!>

Mbala Airport (FLBA) to HTSY in the Artic Tiger painted Dassault-Breguet Super Etendard Modernisé (from XPFR.org. Now in v12 version).

Low level cruise.

Xp12, Ortho4XP, LR Beech Baron 58.

Checking out Guadalupe Island in Mexico off the coast of Baja.  Followed a VOR outbound from near San Diego (CA, USA) as far as it would take me, which was about half way (235 nm from the VOR to the island), and then flew a heading from last VOR fix until visually spotting the island. Then in reverse to return to KSAN.

In real life there is an airfield on the island, and I was easily able to spot it in the ortho scenery during an overflight, but it appears to not be present in XP's airport database, so it was un-landable in XP.  The real island is a protected biosphere reserve and requires a permit from the Mexican gov to visit.

Sparky B744, Queen of the Skies from Seattle to San Fransisco after multiple failed attempts from Seattle to Anchorage. I discovered that increasing the Ground Speed in the sim to 16X doesn't burn off the fuel and makes the plane too heavy to land, especially in icing conditions (at least I couldn't do it).
