Please note the CYWH grass rwy is fictional and only included to make the Tower View work properly.
ISSUE Mac users:  If moving Water Taxis are missing from downloaded scenery: go to plugins\GroundTraffic\mac.xpl - double-click it and if you get the 'uncertified developer' error; the mac.xpl file needs to be confirmed in System Preferences\Security & Privacy. PM me if you need help.
If you have marginal's SeaTraffic:  includes 3 Victoria Harbour Ferry routes with boats much too large and way too fast.  I searched for and deleted "Victoria Harbour Ferry" routes from my SeaTraffic routes.txt file. This scenery has authentic Victoria Harbour ferries.

  2. EverestPark+Lukla add-on pack

Everest Region Supplement scenery pack.   Made with X-Plane v11.50
This scenery is an extract of items from my VNLK Lukla-Everest scenery.  It adds villages, buildings, other objects, and more helipads to the area covered by the payware FDainese-EverestPark3D
Requires payware FDainese-EverestPark3D to be installed (make no sense without it).

Added Villages, hotels, bridges, stupas, etc, are all custom objects in local styles as close to their actual locations as XP terrain permits.
The VNLK VASI and REIL lights appear on newer photos but their exact angles is unclear.
    Libraries used:
    OpenSceneryX
    CDB-Library 2.6
    ruscenery
No Airports are included in this pack.
Helipads are added  at  Hotel Everest View, Dingboche, Pheriche, Gorak Shep, Thame, Kongde, Phakding. Gokyo, Chukhung.
To install: Unzip the file and place the folder: 'EverestPark+Lukla add-on pack'  in your Custom Scenery folder.
No alterations are made to FDainese-EverestPark3D, except to replace two buildings with more accurate versions (may depend on scenery_packs.ini order).

  3. Nepal VNPK Pokhara

    VNPK Pokhara, Nepal
Made using X-Plane v11.50 and HDv4 scenery by alpilotX.
Some objects may not appear correctly with standard v11 scenery.
Pokhara is Nepal's 2nd largest city, a popular tourist destination and a stopping point on your way from Kathmandu to Jomsom to explore the Annapurna range.
VNPK operates only during daylight. Approach paths are too short for night ops.
Construction is progressing on a replacement airport, 3km east of present VNPK. Runway is poured and terminal partly completed. (new runway 12-30 should not be used - except in X-Plane)
Data and charts from Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal - requires a bit of searching:   http://e-aip.caanepal.gov.np/welcome/listall/1
The Charak Memorial hospital has a rooftop helipad;  the World Peace temple, above S side of Phewa lake, also has a helipad.
Avia Club operates a training airstrip about 11 km from VNPK, bearing approx 295.
Watch out for about half-a-dozen microlights orbiting near Phewa Lake, mostly clear of VNPK approaches.

  4. Nepal VNLK Lukla-Everest VNLK v11.0.0

VNLK Tenzing-Hillary Airport, Lukla       VNSB Syangboche  + various helipads

Made with X-Plane v10.35     Tested with X-P v11.41 and X-P v11.50  but requires this +27+086.dsf mesh file from XP v10.30
Replace your existing dsf mesh file with this: zz_Nepal_Lukla_mesh.zip  Unzip and place in Custom Scenery folder :Check position in scenery_packs.ini file.
Recommend separation folders in scenery_packs.ini     see this discussion:
There will be jagged edges at the tile borders - but this is jagged terrain anyway.
XP Rendering Options settings must have ‘runways follow terrain contours’ checked ON for this scenery to appear correctly (XP v10)
Lukla is the starting point for trekkers and climbers to explore Sagarmatha National Park and Mt. Everest.

Runway length is about 1700 ft (527m) Elevation is 9100 ft (2843m)             Runway slope averages about 10 degrees.

In RL it's used mostly by DHC-6 Twin Otter and Dornier D0-228. There are also helicopter services and a Yeti airlines Pilatus TurboPorter service between Lukla and Syangboche.

  Syangboche airstrip also slopes.

The tents at Everest base camp are about 4km NE of Gorak Shep. There are also a few tents at Camp IV - South Col.
All towers, tea houses, hotels, bridges, stupas, etc, are custom objects in local style as close to their actual locations as XP terrain permits. Some have not yet been corrected for XP 11 scenery.

There are some graphics anomalies, as part of rwy24 end is below XP terrain level: that part of your aircraft below ground is invisible.
For VNLK to show correctly Global Shadows should be off.  Use 3d on aircraft shadow detail to avoid shadow at rwy 24 end..

Thanks to:  daveduck, helgo, propsman, vonhinx for help in flying underground.

Big thank you to Marginal for Overlay Editor, Sketchup to XPlane converter, XPublish.
Static aircraft thanks to: Pablo, Cami de Bellis, URF.
Flags adapted from Austrian Flags by AXDG

The VASI and REIL appear on newer photos but their actual position and angle is unclear.
Uses some OpenSceneryX items (mostly forests) and a few ruscenery objects but these are not essential.

When starting from Lukla set your location to Rwy 24 Start or an Apron Start.
The 3 nm final approach puts you behind a mountain about to crash.
To practice approaches:   Select rwy06  3 nm final approach.   Immediately hit pause.   Select Local Map and move your aircraft directly over the river, heading upriver.   Close Local Map.   Save Situation.

    Known Issues:
The curving Lukla rwy and flat aprons are made with XP objects with several hard surfaces.
If you have a broken Lukla rwy, see Igor4U comment on page 5.

Helipads now at Namche, Tengboche, Dingboche, Pheriche, Gorak Shep, Thame, Kongde, Phakding. Unmarked helipads at Gokyo and Chukhung.
Follow the Trail along the Dudh-Koshi between Lukla and Syangboche.
Updated and more detailed towers, hotels and other objects, thanks to new info on Google street view

  8. Nepal Lukla VNLK for v9

    VNLK Lukla, VNSB Syangboche, Nepal.
    Made using X-Plane v9.67

Update: Hi-res textures for main buildings. Objects much more detailed.

Lukla is the starting point for trekkers and climbers to explore Sagarmatha National Park and Mt. Everest.

Runway length is about 1700 ft (527m) Elevation is 9100 ft (2770m)
The runway slopes about 12 degrees.
Rendering options: Runways Follow Terrain Contours must be set to ON else this airport makes no sense.
When starting from here set your location to Rwy 24 Start or Ramp Start 4.
In RL it's used mostly by DHC-6 Twin Otter and Dornier D0-228. There is also a Yeti airlines Pilatus TurboPorter service between Lukla and Syangboche.

Syangboche airstrip also slopes severely, and in XP terrain has no flat apron area.

The tents at Everest base camp are about 4km NE of Gorak Shep (VNG1 code is fictional but shows on the map view and GPS)

Nearby villages, hotels, bridges, stupas, etc, are all custom objects in local styles as close to their actual locations as XP terrain permits.

There are some graphics anomalies as part of the flat apron is below XP terrain level.
eg: that part of your aircraft below ground is invisible, you may also see some flickering of the apron surface.
Thanks to: propsman, daveduck, vonhinx for help in flying underground

  9. Nepal Jomsom - Annapurna

    Nepal Jomsom-Annapurna
    Made using X-Plane v9.61

    Update January 2011
Deleted exclusion zones which were interfering with the Nepal Pokhara scenery package.

    Update December 2010

    Scenery now includes:
VNJS Jomsom rwy 2000ft elevation 8800ft
Jomsom is a starting point to explore the Annapurna range. The peak to the SE is Nilgiri.
The symbols just NE of Jomsom are actually stone walls. See http://scriptures.ru/nepal/annapoorna/jomsom/jomsom_kagbeni_en.htm

VNBL Baglung rwy 2000ft elevation 3250ft, takeoff downhill.

    VNMA Manang/Humde rwy 2000ft elevation 11115ft (!) in a narrow valley.
Tilted rwy will probably not be fixed in XP 10, I did not find it in time.

VNGK Gorkha rwy 3280ft elevation 1400ft
Tilted rwy will probably be fixed in XP 10.

Included helicopter pads are in their actual locations.

    STOL aircraft strongly recommended.
In RL these airports are used mostly by DHC-6 Twin Otter and Dornier D0-228.

Update adds many villages and buildings along the Annapurna circuit, including several new local building types.
Any bridges are the appropriate type and very close to the actual locations.

Thanks to Marginal for Overlay Editor, OE to Sketchup, and X-Publish.
    Thanks to Aussi for OpenSceneryX.

  10. Saskatchewan north

    October 14,
    Corrected blurb error.

    Update October 7, 2009
This Saskatchewan north scenery and Tom Curtis' Canadian_Rockies_105 both include airports CJY9 and CJL4 in La Loche. This update includes a dsf file which you can install to resolve overlapping objects. If you do not have Canadian_Rockies this update does nothing except add one very remote bush airstrip.

This scenery covers the northern 2/3 of Saskatchewan, Canada, from latitude 53 to 60.

Includes 54 airports, 8 unregistered airstrips (some are dubious, some are in use), and 13 Water Aerodromes.

CYPA Prince Albert is quite accurate (from my own photos), others are good if they are in high-res on Google Earth or if photos are available.

    OpenSceneryX is required.

Runways described as 'treated gravel' I have represented with asphalt.

If your favourite gold mine, fishing camp, or other landmark is missing please send me photos and co-ordinates :-)

  12. Nepal Pokhara VNPK

    VNPK Pokhara Nepal

    Made using X-Plane v9.3
    June 2010

Pokhara is Nepal's 3rd largest city, a good stopping point on the way from Kathmandu to Jomsom to explore the Annapurna range.

I suggest turning roads OFF, default roads in Nepal are very unrealistic.
Starting at 3nm from either end puts you behind a hill, but it can be done.

This scenery uses some objects from OpenSceneryX.

    Thanks to:

  15. CYXE Saskatoon

    Saskatoon International Airport CYXE
    made with XP 9.69
looks OK in XP 10 (except the AI B747 demolished a CRJ ) but not properly tested
This scenery is as up-to-date as I can make it, the airport is currently being expanded.
You should also have these packages:
    OpenSceneryX
    http://www.opensceneryx.com/
OSM Canada Roads 1.0.1 by shizumaat
    http://forums.x-plan...s&showfile=7300
    STILL TO DO:
    Local landmarks and bridges
    Lit textures
Keep up with airport expansion (watch this file)
    CREDITS
The CYXE apt.dat was updated a few years ago by an unknown XP user. Thank you. I made only minor adjustments and updates.

  16. Manitoba south-west

    August update: errors fixed
This scenery covers the southwest corner of the province of Manitoba, Canada.
It is a work-in-progress, these former BCATP* airports are fairly detailed, other airports will be completed when time permits.

  17. Bridge Construction Kit (with Sketchup files)

The zip files contain several bridge objects with the original Sketchup files.
I made these bridges for specific locations in my sceneries.
They can be used 'as is' or you may modify the Sketchup and texture files to make the versions you need.
The scale operation in Sketchup can easily make your bridge longer, taller, wider etc.
Usually I take an existing truss then stretch, copy and combine parts to get the new bridge required.
Some of the concrete bridge objects are intended to be added end to end to make any length.
The folders are not well organized and contain near-duplicates, but may give builders a starting point and save some time and effort.
Converting Sketchup files to XP objects requires SketchUp2XPlane from http://marginal.org.uk/x-planescenery/tools.html
    Thanks again, marginal
    Nick

  18. Nepal Lukla VNLK for X-Plane 8

    VNLK Lukla, VNSB Syangboche, Nepal.
    Made using X-Plane v9, adapted for v8.
Lukla is the starting point for trekkers and climbers to explore Sagarmatha National Park and Mt. Everest.
Runway length is about 1700 ft (527m) Elevation is 9100 ft (2770m)
The runway slopes about 12 degrees in RL but 16 degrees on X-Plane terrain.
The fold at the top of the runway is realistic - see photos of Lukla on Airliners.net etc.
(you might want to not use the lower side of the ramp!)
In RL it's used mostly by DHC-6 Twin Otter and Dornier D0-228.
    Syangboche airstrip also slopes.
You can get a Twin Otter or similar aircraft in and out (if you can find the runway )
The tents at Everest base camp are about 4km NE of Gorak Shep (VNGS code is fictional but shows on the map view and GPS)
Nearby villages, bridges, stupas, etc, are very close to their actual locations but do not necessarily look much like reality! They were placed in v9, only a few have been adjusted to better fit v8 terrain.
Screenshots above were taken in v9.
Requires OpenSceneryX - for the trees.
Big thank you to marginal for Overlay Editor and Sketchup to XPlane converter.
