Jacques Brault

This is Jacques Brault's Sky Arrow 650, converted for X-Plane 11.
The original manufacturer, 3I (Iniziative Industriali Italiane), went bankrupt and the Sky Arrow design was purchased by Magnaghi Aeronautica.

A collection of 145 hangars objects made in Sketch-up that I developed while making my sceneries.

The P-51D that has been completely revised and tweaked for version 9.70.
 
For better handling of this plane I strongly recommend that you read the POH that is supplied with the plane. WW2 fighters with their powerful engines and monster propellers were not easy beasts to tame. Take the time to learn to fly this plane properly. It will prove rewarding.
 
The use of pedals for braking and for ground handling will make it easier.

This is a version of the Toronto Skyline to be used with version 8.64.
It can also be used with version 9.70 if you have not downloaded CDN 791M's Toronto/Western Lake Ontario Terrain or chose not to use it. I recommend strongly that you download this file unless you are using version 8.64, the results are much better.

There is apt.dat provided for CYTZ but there are no buildings on the airport for now.

This is a representation of the Toronto downtown area and the Toronto Islands.
It will work best if you downloaded CDN 791M's Toronto/Western Lake Ontario Terrain as a companion file.

The file includes a fair number of Toronto landmark buildings and will probably be growing in the coming months but is quite useable as is.

I have included a version of my own of the apt.dat for CYTZ. Patchett uploaded such data some time ago but his airport needs to be moved around a bit to fit this scenery. I transmitted him the required data for moving the airport. Once it is uploaded you may remove the apt.dat from this file depending on the version you will prefer.

There are no buildings yet on CYTZ. That will follow later by me or by Patchett, I will see this with him.

CYZD Downsview in the Heart of Toronto is home of the Bombardier Q400 assembly line.
It has now been invaded by car manufacturers but was home of De Havilland and Avro.

Ski stations provide a very good way to confirm where you actually are when flying VFR. In summer the cleared up ski trails on the slopes of the mountains are easily spotted and identified.

This is a new version of Barrage Gouin to replace the file CBGO Barrage Gouin uploaded some years ago.
This new version include a few outfitters and other destinations.
Please note that the Dam itself and the Seaplane base nearby is the original work of Jean St-Cyr, published for Microsoft FS.
It is re-used with permission granted for the original CBGO file (see the atached readme files).
CTP3 Barrage Gouin is a registered floatplane base.
All the other destinations provided exist but are not registered. I used a fictitious ICAO code to make them appear in X-Plane.
I spotted and located all all the sites in Google Earth. I gave the names of nearby lakes to the fields when I could not idenfify them formally. Some of the fields may have been abandoned, I cannot tell. They seem to be remnants of fields used by Hydro-Quebec or some forestry companies.

Finally, decent satellite imagery for CSE4 Lachute allowed for a much closer to reality model of this airport west of Montreal (CYUL) and close to Mirabel (CYMX).
Please note that the code for the airport in X-Plane is SE4 while it is listed as CSE4 in the Nav Canada Flight Supplement.
If you already have Quebec CSE4 Lachute installed in your custom sceneries folder, replace it with this new one.
