The most efficient airport I've ever been to. Clean, modern and dummy-proof. Taking the bus from Shenzen to Hong Kong Island is easy as pie and often cheaper than flying directly into the city. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jebus, the new terminal is the shit. It's approaching humane standards. All the shops you'll ever need and clean.

Can't have a descent food after the last inspection. You can find Starbucks on the way to Bldg B. I'm sure you would want to have a coffee and relax a bit at least, because your flight is delayed!

If you are taking international flight, advise you to have dinner before going through customs as there are limited food in the departure area, pacific coffee closes early too.

If you’re going to Hong-Kong, it’s often way cheaper to fly into Shenzhen instead and then take the train over the border. ✈️ 🚂

One of the best Airport in China, very efficient Immigration and custom, they are few good restaurants upstairs, local brand Kunfu is worth trying, their set Chinese menu is value for money.

Sure your flight will be delayed. But don't relay on the info-board or announcements: the board often shows incorrect info and all unrecorded announcements are in Chinese in this International Airport

Been delayed on every Chinese flight this year. Now with a Typhoon approaching everything is on time. My tip? Avoid flying in good weather.

New T3 has tons of food options after security: Burger King, Starbucks, Subway (hidden near gate 13), a few local options, and Honeymoon Desserts.

Difficult to get free wifi in the airport. But you can get to the airport hotel by free shuttle bus. In the hotel there's free wifi. The password is 2772888. Enjoy! ;-)

The new terminal is big and nice, and to my surprise when i got to the boarding gate 5 mins before the boarding time everyone was on the plane already! No announcement of early boarding either.

Baggage system is efficient here. My checked baggage is already there when I reached the baggage claim. Then again, the walk from gate to baggage claim is not that short.

Never take international flight needs transfer inside China, or when there is a choice from Hong Kong airport. the flights often delay by weather condition while no any problem in Hong Kong.

If you plan on using the Metro to get to or from the airport, build in some extra time. You have to take a free airport bus to/from the Metro station, and the lines for the bus can get quite long.

Routine: checkin and purchase a latte in Starbucks until boarding time. (For SZairlines) Gate starts from 22 after Starbucks, gates >27 will take a 5min walk to reach from Starbucks.

The airport is so huge. And if you are going in the Shenzhen city pick the red taxi. Not the green one, the green taxi only come a few and you will take a lot of time then the red one. Waste your time

New Terminal 3 opened in November 2013. A & B are now closed. It is basically a brand new airport. Note that when viewing old tips. Delays are still common though unfortunately...

The security is more concerned with your portable chargers than your oversized liquids. A rarity but not uncommon in "we got our own rules" China.

At departure, ltd of folks miss the fact that there are two food courts, 1 in each side. If you’re are fan of KFC go left. If you’re a McDonalds’ or subway fellow go right.
