ESG must be concrete actions. It can't be just talk without actions. This is as concrete example as it can be. Nokia protected this fantastic 71 hectare forest area close to arctic circle in Kuusamo last year. Its there and it stay for nature. Anyone is welcome to visit. #esg #sustainability #nature

I'm huge fan of this as I took my first steps already in 2018. We basically cleaned one dirty beach close to Gran Canaria airport with my dad. Filmed short video when working and then it was news in Spain. After our work local people started their own organization for beach cleaning. It was amazing to see how small things (few hours) can change so much. Especially my dad was very surprised as TV channels called to me just few hours after I posted video to Facebook. Here you can find YLE story of it -> https://lnkd.in/dqRBfrTa

This marks a major step in our mission to stop river pollution and promote sustainable practices globally. This is good achievement but would it be much more efficient try to tackle this in the place where plastics are entering to water? Towns and cities next to rivers are critical locations. Maybe its just impossible to understand this from Finland... #plastics #wastes #wastehandling #oceanplastics #gotogemba
