Nagarjuna Sagar Airport

Nagarjuna Sagar Airport (ICAO: VONS) is located at Nagarjuna Sagar in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. There is currently no scheduled commercial air service in this Airport.

The airport is located at an elevation of 658 feet (210 m) above mean sea level. It has one paved runway designated 09/27 oriented by measures of 4384 ft (1336 m) in length.

Nagarjuna Sagar Airport currently is used for flying training purpose and it is managed and control by Airports Authority of India (AAI).

There are plans to upgrade the facility to enable scheduled commercial operations. In March 2020, AAI announced it was considering developing the airport into a water aerodrome for use by seaplanes.
