Krabi International Airport (IATA: KBV, ICAO: VTSG), is in Nuea Khlong subdistrict, Nuea Khlong district, Krabi province in southern Thailand. It is about 7 kilometres (4 mi) east of downtown Krabi. The airport opened in 1999.  In 2017, the airport handled over 4.3 million passengers. The terminal is designed for three million passengers, a number that has already been exceeded, and expansion will push its capacity to over 8 million.

In 2018, the airport was allocated 6.6 billion baht to build a third terminal, renovate the existing two terminals and car park, and expand aircraft parking bays and associated electrical power infrastructure. In 2019, the Department of Airports announced a project to double the airport's capacity to eight million passengers per year. The airport will no longer be expanded after its final phase of expansion due to lack of space and the city's expansion, and will not be able to cope with the future traffic.

After many years of closure, the airport of Salerno Pontecagnano "Costa d'Amalfi" (ICAO: LIRI, IATA: QSR) finally reopens on July 11, 2024. Completely renovated and ready to accommodate aircraft of virtually any size.
In July 2024 the main innovations will be:

  • Runway extended to 2000 m
  • Two new taxiways
  • The main apron very enlarged compared to the current
  • Start of works for the construction of the new General Aviation terminal, scheduled for 2025
The works will continue, and in 2026 the "Costa d’Amalfi" should be finished with:
  • Runway extended to 2200 m
  • New main terminal
  • New GA terminal
  • ILS navigation system (assumed)
  • New airport buildings
  • New car parkings
To celebrate this "new" reality in the Italian airport scene, and anticipate the preview for fans, BarelliMsfsAddon has prepared the new addon dedicated to Salerno, divided into two separate mods: Salerno 2024 and Salerno 2026. These are two mods to install as usual in the MSFS Community folder, obviously NOT at the same time.

When publishing the 2024 version, it is important to specify that:
  • Official Enav cards are not yet available, so the markings and signage are similar to the current ones, with the appropriate variants; as soon as official news will be ready, which may however delay, you will be provided with a free update.

Regarding the 2026 version, it is specified that:
  • Regarding the new terminal only architectural renderings are available, as officially presented in 2023, and based on these was created the new terminal for the simulator.
  • Regarding the GA terminal there is no info, so the building was "invented", in the place where it will be built, inspired by existing GA terminals (Rome Ciampino and Olbia); also in this case, when and if news will be available, we will update.
  • It is assumed, reading between the lines of the official statements, that there will be the subsidy of an ILS on runway 05, the frequency of which was imagined as 108.50 MHz.
  • The new parkings of the cars have always been deducted from the official renderings.

Houari Boumediene International Airport (DAAG) is Algeria's largest airport, located just south-east of Algiers. The airport has its origins during pre-independence times when it was called Maison Blanche Airport, and the oldest of the terminals still dates from that era. The newest terminal completed in 2019 on the other hand is ultra-modern and is capable of serving A380 aircraft. The airport has a total capacity of up to 16 million passengers per year and has flights to 81 destinations in 31 countries.

NetDesign has painstakingly recreated the entire airport with upwards of 40 custom models including the four terminals, various buildings, vehicles, aircraft and objects. Extensive rework of auto-generated areas behind the airport has been done to blend it with the main terminal areas. The accompanying DAAG Scenery pack features key landmarks such as Maqam Echahid (Martyrs' Memorial) and Nelson Mandela Stadium which is flown over during the runway 09 approach. The crown jewel is a striking recreating of Djamaa el Djazaïr (the Great Mosque of Algiers), the billion-Euro megaproject which was both controversial for its cost and award-winning for its beautiful architecture. It features a 265 m (869 ft) tall minaret making it the tallest building in Africa and the tallest minaret in the world. Both the mosque and stadium feature real-life helicopter pads which are available as starting positions in the simulator.

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (IATA: DCA, ICAO: KDCA, FAA LID: DCA), is located in Arlington, Virginia, next to the border of Washington, D.C. It is the smaller of two airports operated by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority that serve the National Capital Region around Washington. The airport is 5 miles (8.0 km) from downtown Washington D.C.. The airport's original name was Washington National Airport. Congress adopted the present name to honor President Ronald Reagan in 1998. The airport served almost 24 2million passengers in 2019.

Flights into and out of the airport are generally not allowed to exceed 1,250 statute miles (2,010 km) in any direction nonstop, in an effort to send coast-to-coast and overseas traffic to Washington Dulles International Airport, though there are 40 slot exemptions to this rule. Planes are required to take unusually complicated paths to avoid restricted and prohibited airspace above sensitive landmarks, government buildings, and military installations in and around Washington, D.C., and to comply with some of the tightest noise restrictions in the country.

The airport's small size constrains its capacity, but Reagan National currently serves 98 nonstop destinations. Reagan is a hub for American Airlines. The airport has no United States immigration and customs facilities; the only scheduled international flights at the airport are those from airports with U.S. Customs and Border Protection preclearance facilities, which generally encompasses flights from major airports in Canada and from some destinations in the Caribbean. Other international passenger flights to the Washington, D.C., area use Washington Dulles International Airport or Baltimore–Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. There are currently five scheduled international routes, which are to cities in Canada, the Bahamas, and Bermuda.

Reagan National is a hub for American Airlines, which is Reagan National's largest carrier. American Airlines also has near-hourly air shuttle flights to New York LaGuardia Airport and Logan International Airport in Boston. Delta Air Lines also operates near-hourly air shuttle flights to New York LaGuardia Airport, which are all operated by Delta Shuttle.

Reagan National Airport has some of the strictest noise restrictions in the country. In addition, due to security concerns, the areas surrounding the National Mall and U.S. Naval Observatory in central Washington are prohibited airspace up to 18,000 feet (5,500 m). Due to these restrictions, pilots approaching from the north are generally required to follow the path of the Potomac River and turn just before landing. This approach is known as the River Visual. Similarly, flights taking off to the north are required to climb quickly and turn left. The "River Visual" is only possible with a ceiling of at least 3,500 feet (1,100 m) and visibility of 3 statute miles (4.8 km) or more. There are lights on the Key Bridge, Theodore Roosevelt Bridge, Arlington Memorial Bridge and the George Mason Memorial Bridge to aid pilots following the river.

When the River Visual is not available due to visibility or winds, aircraft may fly an offset localizer or GPS approach to Runway 19 along a similar course. Most airliners are also capable of performing a VOR or GPS approach to the shorter Runway 15/33. Northbound visual and ILS approaches to Runway 1 are also sometimes used; these approaches follow the Potomac River from the south and overfly the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.
