Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. has announced the 2024 model year of its NMAX ABS moped scooter.
The specifications and equipment remain unchanged, but a new dark blue color has been introduced. The new color, Dark Blue, enhances the model's appeal as a high-class city commuter. The white color has been dropped from the catalog.
The model will be released on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at a price of 2708 USD approx.
Sales volume is expected to be 2,500 units.
Pursuing a sense of luxury in a practical moped model lineup
The NMAX ABS is a moped scooter that has been on sale since 2016. It is the smallest displacement model in the MAX series, which also includes the TMAX, XMAX, and NMAX 155. The 2021 model year saw a major model change, with a liquid-cooled single-cylinder 124cc BLUE CORE engine. Equipped with traction control, an idling stop function, and a smart key system, the new model pursues a style that is easy to use for commuting and city riding, yet still offers a sense of luxury.
For the 2024 model year, the specifications and equipment of the previous model remain the same, and a new color has been added. Dark Blue (Dull Blue Metallic C) is now available. This new color replaces white, and the cowl is finished in deep dark blue and matte black, and the wheels are black. The existing "Matte Dark Green" and "Matte Dark Gray" models will continue to be offered in the lineup.

The 2021 model gains full LED lights, a smart key system, and an idle stop function. It became a city commuter with the latest equipment.
The engine is the Blue Core engine, which outputs a maximum of 12 PS, and the VVA (variable valve arrangement) delivers high acceleration performance and driving feel.
