Yamaha Motor Japan has announced the 2023 model year of its NMAX155 ABS light motorcycle scooter. The equipment and specifications remain unchanged, and new colors "Red" and "White" are introduced as color variations. The existing "Matte Dark Green" and "Matte Dark Gray" will continue to be offered in the lineup, for a total of 4 colors.
The product will released on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. The price is approx. 2,844 USD for all colors, an increase of approx. 110 USD from the previous price.

The NMAX 155 is a scooter released in 2017, sharing most of its body with the moped class NMAX (124cc), but with an increased displacement of 155cc. It is a popular model that combines the easy handling of a small-displacement scooter (body weight 131 kg) with the convenience of a light motorcycle that can also be used on expressways.
The full model change received in 2022 will bring a drastically renewed design and compliance with Euro 5 class emission regulations. The BLUE CORE engine mounted on the motorcycle features VVA (variable valve actuation) and an idling stop function to achieve low fuel consumption and quietness. Its output is 11 kW (15 PS)/8,000 rpm, and it is also equipped with a traction control system for safety. In terms of equipment, LED headlights and taillights, a smart key, DC jack, and a large-capacity front trunk add to the practicality of the vehicle.
The new model features the same equipment and specifications but adds color variations. The 2 new colors, "Red Solid H (red)" and "White Metallic 6 (white)," join the lineup of vivid primary colors, which were previously available only in earth tone colors. The existing "Matte Dark Green" and "Matte Dark Gray" will continue to be sold, but the "Matte Gray" will no longer be available, making a total of 4 colors available.
The product will be released on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. The price is approx. 2,845 USD for all colors, an increase of approx. 110 USD from the previous price. Manufactured in Indonesia, the company plans to sell 1,500 units per year.
The NMAX 155 is equipped with a 155cc engine that is powerful and can be driven on highways despite its 125cc class rating. The 2022 also brings equipment upgrades.
