Cat 3D Cake

Creating and sculpting 3D cakes are so much fun, and a great adventure. From figuring out how to shape,, what to bake and how many to bake.

Got this job from our local baker’s group. I was just started baking again and this 3D cat seems like a good challenge to start off with.

Planned on baking some circles and some retangular cake. I end up baking a 12×12 inch sheet cake, and started stacking them together and later carving them. Cake carving has always been my favourite, it was such a pleasure.

Carved and crumb coated. Can u see the cat?
Piping furs, face and paws, and a tail of course
Last but not least, eyes n ears and some whiskers

The customer requested the cat to look like her daughter’s favourite plushie toy cat. I guess I nailed it? A chubbier version of the plush cat 😆

Birthday girl’s happy, her mom’s happy, I’m happy ❤

I’m just happy with how it turned out to be, and when a client is happy, it’s all worth it 🥰

Since instagram started reels, I’ve been trying to make some. My first reel was quite successful, I guess because it was posted on the right time. Some reels such as this one was posted at the wrong time, or it was just plain uninteresting.

Haven’t got much time to make reels lately because I’m so busy caking. They say reels can help you gain more genuine followers, not much luck yet..haha

Baking for kekComel

Yep, you read right. I’m back, baking for kekComel once again. With more new original recipes to share and discover. Building recipes is a lot of fun, experimenting and discovering new taste, like when Remy in the movie Ratatouille closes his eyes and get fireworks when delicious flavours combine in his mouth, exciting his tastebuds ❤

However, I’m taking it slow. Baking only one cake every other day. Still trying to balance baking work and looking after the kids, especially the new baby, who is super clingy by the way 😆 I’m looking forward to caking for orders, especially 3D cakes because cake carving really gets me in the zone, if u know what I mean.

My cakes may not have clean edges nor out of this world design. However they are cute, won’t you agree? 😉

Bringing joy to others makes it all worthwhile

2020..what a year! A much anticipated year, but with a major unexpected turnout, the world today is changed, everyone is accepting the new normal, everyone is adapting to the unforseen changes. We adapt to survive. One thing I treasure most is the togetherness and the time we get to spend together as a family, everyone is at home now, all the time, and it’s comforting ❤

Welcoming 2021 with a calmer manner, not expecting too much, focusing on what matters in life to me, which is time spent with loved ones and giving more to those in need. Together we could make this world a better place. Practicing selflessness as an act of love, what the world today needs, love ❤
