OUR FACILITY
The Ontario Spoke was Li-Cycle’s first commercial battery recycling Spoke facility.
In July 2019, Li-Cycle successfully commissioned its first battery recycling Spoke facility in Kingston, Ontario. Li-Cycle paused the processing of batteries at the facility in November 2023.

The Ontario Spoke is strategically located between Ontario and Quebec markets, which have experienced significant EV penetration.

Our innovative recycling process ensures the safe and sustainable recycling of all types of lithium-ion batteries and manufacturing scrap, preventing them from ending up in landfills and reducing overall waste.
