A collection of 34 additional, improved or corrected airport names, for use with Flight Simulator 2004 and FS2002. Installation requires the EditVoicepack software (see http://bevelstone.xs4all.nl/FlightSimulator/EditVoicepack) by Lars Møllebjerg which is also available as a free download from the usual Flight Simulator download sites such as Avsim. Scenery is based on Google Earth, Bing Maps and photos taken locally, and it is optimized for use with UTX-TAC. If you have Jim Dhaenens' lightobj.bgl installed, apron lighting will be included.

File Description: For all of you "Pilots of the Caribbean" out there, I am proud to present this realistic, detailed repaint of Bahamasair's Boeing 737-275, registration C6-BGK. This is one of 2 Boeing 737's operated by Bahamasair. This aircraft makes regular runs to and from MYNN (Nassau, Bahamas) to Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood (KFLL), Miami (KMIA) and Orlando (KMCO). This repaint has a hand rendered 'Bahamasair' logo as well as a hand-painted tail logo. They are crisp and sharp. Although the Tinmouse paint kit has a nice weathering and dirt layer in it, I made the grime a tad more realistic as this bird regularly shows her wear. If you want to light up your 'mouse' at night, I recommend Matthew Lue's Tinmouse II lighting effects (AVSIM DLID 89742). This is a textures only package; you must have the Tinmouse 737-200adv v2 base package and updates available here at AVSIM (tinmouse_ii_v1_25.zip). The textures in this repaint are 32-bit with no mips. NOTE: This is a re-upload due to the AVSIM site compromise.

MYER Rock Sound International, Eleuthera Island, Bahamas

File Description:
Googly scenery for Rock Sound International (ICAO: MYER), a grand-sounding but quiet airport located on Eleuthera Island, Bahamas. Eleuthera is a long and thin island east of Nassau and has three commercial airports, the busiest being Governor's Harbour. Rock Sound is at the southern end and is served twice daily by Dash 8 turboprops of Bahamasair, along with occasional flights by operators such as Southern Air Charter. The airport has seen busier days and was once even served from Europe by Alitalia. Microsoft have only provided general aviation facilities at this airport in Flight Simulator 2004 and this scenery seeks to redress the situation so that you and your "AI" traffic can use the airport realistically. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.

These files are a recommended upgrade for the following repaints of Jan Visser's aircraft by Mark Beaumont: C-47 41-18385 (1942), C-47 Dakota RAF (2), AA 'Flagship Knoxville', Air Queensland VH-MAL, Bush Pilots Airways VH-MAL, Air Viet Nam, Airlines of NSW VH-ANR, Ansett MAL VH-MAL, Ansett PNG VH-MAL, Bahamas Airways, BBA VH-BAB, BOAC G-AGHE, Cathay Pacific 'Betsy' (3 variants), Cathay Pacific 'Nikki', Dan-Air G-AMPP, Delta Air Lines 'Ship 41', Lambair, Swiss Air Lines. Includes a more appropriate airfile (a Visser original, upgraded for FS2002) and modified AIRCRAFT.CFG file for all versions. Any further repaints will ship with these new files.
