Airside Bar

This large darkish room seems to be a kind've huge 'holding pen' for passengers waiting for their flight gate to be announced. Just like the sign says "Relax and shop" they should have a more honest one which simply says "Get bevvied" for that's what the majority of the people in here seem intent on doing.

There's quite a bit of seating in the actual bar and they have another roped off bit over the way in which the overspill seem content to sit. It's actually quite pleasant if empty but today was packed with stags and hens sinking cider like it was going out of fashion. There was quite a lengthy food menu but i didn't fancy my chances though they seemed to be doing a roaring trade with their all day breakfasts.

Selection and pricing at the bar was nothing special but they did seem to have a few offers on which no doubt catered to the party brigade.

Pros: Big and roomy.
Cons: Noisy and a bit impersonal.
