They do have a dog friendly patio. It can get quite hot out there, however, as there's only a couple of umbrellas.

We went here on a Friday for drinks and couple of snacks. We absolutely loved our experience. We made a reservation for around 6pm and chose to sit on the patio because it was a beautiful day. The service was super quick.
We got the white sangria pitcher which I highly recommend. It was so good we had to resist not getting a second pitcher. We also got the potatoes and a salad. They provide some complimentary bread as well. I would go back for dinner and try some more of their tapas in the future.
It was perfect to sit with friends, chat, and enjoy some food and drinks!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 12, 2024
Amazing Mother's day brunch!!
Great ambience and service. Parking is a little rough but valet available
The wine and cocktail menu is amazing. Had an aperitivo flight and wine flight. Sangria varieties and extensive wine list
The menu full of delectable tapas. We had the chorizo migas, estrelladas and papás bravas of course. All perfectly portioned and delicious
Paella con mariscos was very well done, good amount of pegado and savory.
Definitely should try this place!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 9, 2024
Overall / Ambiance: must go-to for a date night or a more intimate night for close friends to catch up. An absolute must = reservation.
Service before table: we did not have a reservation and were quoted 1 hour for a wait time so we had a pitcher of sangria and a bottle of wine at the bar (sangria was too sugary and not enough alcohol and bottle of wine, Glup Glup, was okay). We ended up waiting 1 hour and 40 minutes for a table, which was less than satisfactory for an estimate wait time. Our bar tender was BEYOND amazing for providing us with gluten free options (celiac) and overall was extremely friendly.
Service at table: Paris was our waitress and she was perfection. Helped us both with adhering to celiac requirements and giving amazing wine and food recommendations. She wasn't hovering over our table, but was around enough to keep food and drinks always on order.
Food: can NEVER go wrong with any of the food here. Best paella I ever had, in America, hands down -- could be saying this simply because of the specific version of a paella, but regardless, it was a delicious and a necessary item for future orders.
Only recommendations are: (1) come here and (2) put in a reservation first.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Joseph, thank you for the kind words despite having to wait longer than the expected quote time and I apologize for that. I am happy that our team made sure you and your party were taken care of. Please email me directly the next time you plan to come in and I will make sure you have a table right away. jryan@barcelonawinebar.com

Barcelona Wine Bar is the PERFECT place to go for your next date night or girls night out! It has a very sexy atmosphere and an amazing, diverse menu. I love tapas where you can order a bunch of different things and share - it's so fun to go with people who enjoy the same experience. Here is what we ordered and my ratings:
- Pork belly (6/10)
- White Sangria (7/10)
- Arugala salad (8/10)
- Aperitivo board (assortment of spanish snacks) (8/10)
- Patatas bravas (9/10)
- Jamon & Manchego croquetas (10/10)
I've also tried their olive oil cake at a birthday party and it was AMAZING! Definitely add this spot to your list if you haven't gone already, and as always suggest making a reservation ahead of time!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 3, 2024
I cannot say enough good things about Barcelona Wine Bar! I am a huge fan of their wide drink selection and different food options. I usually go with a few tapas rather than a big plate and it is great. I recommend the Patatas Bravas and the Espresso Martini!
The service was prompt for how crowded the location was. On a weekend evening I would definitely make a reservation in advance. Our waitress gave us great recommendations for drinks!
This spot is great for a date night or night out with friends. Definitely a moody lighting and the decor was beautiful. I will definitely be coming back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 043102Mar 30, 2024
Great atmosphere, tapas style food, and service. Perfect for celebrations or just girls night out, this is such a cute spot in the Knox Henderson neighborhood with other bars and restaurants to stop by on your trip.

If you are looking for a variety of food and drinks ... This is the place to be. Loved the service, and of course the food and wine. The ambiance is high class and lively...
Parking is a challenge in that area, so best to valet. Tips can be paid in cash or venmoedHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aruni G.Austin, TX1552176May 20, 2024
We went to dinner here after my son's graduation from UT Dallas last Monday. There were 10 of us and they seated us quickly and early as we weren't sure how long graduation would last. The food was overall great with so many choices. The paella was solid. Everyone left satisfied. Paying the bill in a shared tapas place is always a challenge but the server figured out a way to create separate checks based on who ordered, which wasn't perfect but good enough that we didn't have to spend 1/2 the evening figuring it out.

Food was fantastic, fresh hot and delicious. Service was superb! Alicia welcomed us and sat us with a smile, Bowser took great care of us. Excellent recommendations, prompt service, and made the evening so fun. Ambiance was lovely, views into the kitchen (very clean and shiny, a great sign!) it was busy and bustling but we had no problems carrying conversation with each other. The flan was phenomenal, probably one of the best I've ever had. Olive oil cake was different but very yummy! The whipped ricotta I think was my favorite. If I lived in Dallas I would be a regular here, thank you for a wonderful evening!

Fantastic find in the Knox Henderson area!
Authentic Spanish cuisine and a huge plus that they have very extensive Spanish wine list. They even have a retail section to purchase their wines.
Our server, Colin, was knowledgeable and friendly. He made excellent suggestions on food and drinks for our dinner.
We will definitely be back soon.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
